Looking for the perfectly located property on the South Shore, with private beach (CROSS BAY) and famous (HORSESHOE BAY BEACH) a 10 min. Walk. THIS IS IT!
Beautifully, TROPICAL decorated with most amenities, located on
a spacious property that overlooks the turquoise waters of Bermuda. On a major bus route to each end of the Island.
PLEASE ASK FOR SPECIAL RATES ON "LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS" IF AVAILABLE!

A great stay and we recommend highly. Wendell and Xenia were fantastic hosts. Wendell gave us great ideas for activities and sites that we might enjoy and we really enjoyed learning about Bermuda from him. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. location was perfect with a bus stop across the street and walkable to the most stunningly beautiful beaches plus several places to eat. A perfect place to stay.

Perfect - in every way - location, opposite Southampton Princess Golf Course, walking distance to Horseshoe Bay, maybe 1 1/2 hrs there and back, strolling, along the beaches, splashing in the sea, to end of Warwick Long Bay, beautiful views, private beach, walking distance to Henry's and Henry's Pantry, 'apartment', nice, comfortable bed, clean room, bathroom, Wendell, Xinia, Jasmine and Atlas - perfect, warm, friendly, kind, caring, thank you - personal perspective - solo traveller over Xmas - needed a 'break' from 'life' and Xmas time perfect time for that break - Wendell and Xinia invited me to Xmas dinner - most relaxed Xmas for me in a very long time - and Xmas dinner was delicious - bringing back very happy memories and only 10 days ago - and talking of 10's, it, everything, is definitely a 10 out of 10 from me - thank you - dan

Wendell is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable—he knows so much about Bermuda’s history. Talking with him taught me more than I learned in my entire three years living in Bermuda! The studio is very quiet and has its own private entrance. Bus stop is just outside of the building, which is very convenient to go to city of hamilton.

Loved our stay at Whispering Waves! Catching the sunrise with a spectacular view from the front yard was a perfect start to each morning! Easily walked to beautiful private beach and multiple restaurants for great meals. Great location to use as home base for adventures. We can not say enough about the genuine heart and care that Wendell and his family put into making sure our stay in Bermuda was exactly what we wanted it to be. We will visit again!

Clean and cozy, perfect location and right on bus route. Close to main beaches, golf resort and restaurants. Owner was wonderful, even showed us around the island and provided us with history of the island. We enjoyed our stay and most of all enjoyed the time with our new friend (the owner) and his family.

Our stay was wonderful! The best part of our visit to Bermuda was meeting Wendell, the owner. He is friendly, outgoing and was enormously helpful for our first visit to Bermuda. Bermuda can be an expensive place to visit; Wendell's place was comfortable and has a beautiful view of the epic Bermuda skyline at a reasonable cost. There is easy access to a terrific beach, and the central location allows you to take public transportation around the island, including Hamilton. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to take several trips in recent years, and this ranks as one of our best. We hope to visit Bermuda again, and will surely stay here if we can.

Perfect location. We could walk to multiple beaches and restaurants. We loved the convenience of grabbing the bus and ferries to go Hamilton, St George, and the Dockyard. The property grounds were wonderful for coming back and relaxing after a full day out and two of the nights we were able to watch beautiful lightning storms over the ocean. I’m definitely coming back. I definitely highly recommend this place.

Grand Hospitality

The owners are wonderful. The property is the perfect place to have a cup of coffee or wine by the ocean. Access to the private beach was terrific (but lots of stairs). Right on the bus line for the South Road made getting back and forth from Hamilton and the Dockyards a breeze. I loved getting to see the parishes as I rode the bus. Jasmin even took us to the airport when we couldn't get a taxi. We'd love to stay again.

Great location for walking to Horeshoe Bay

Owner Wendall was very nice (via email) but we never met him as his wife had an emergency and they were off property. His daughter Jasmine met us upon our arrival and even arranged taxi transport back to the airport on the day we left. The room is basic and small (size of a bedroom with private bathroom) but compared to expensive Bermuda hotels it was worth it. Henry’s pantry and restaurant is 5 minute walk. Horseshoe Bay from the apartment to the beach is about a 20 minute walk. Bus stop right outside. We rented an electric car for the day at Oleander at the Reefs which was 10 minute walk. You can see Gibbs lighthouse from the yard. Beautiful views of the ocean from front of house. We were in the back of the house facing the road, very private. The hottub was not in service which disappointed my husband who has a bad back. Bed was comfortable. We had a very nice 4 nights in Bermuda!

Location, Location, Location

We had a wonderful time staying here. The views are amazing & the location can’t be beat. We used the ShoreLink app to purchase our bus passes & it was so easy to catch the bus. The bus stops are literally just a few yards away from the unit. The unit is small, but we didn’t spend a lot of time there. It was stocked with the basic essentials to prepare a light meal or snack. Henry VIII’s is within walking distance for a nice meal or carry out. The hosts were extremely nice. We met Wendell, but mostly had the pleasure of dealing with his daughter, Jasmine. As a previous review stated, it’s not fancy, but it was perfect for us & reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.

Hope to be back

We stayed 12 days at Whispering Waves And had an excellent time. Wendell, Xinia,and jasmine are a lovely family, with a wealth of knowledge to share about their island. The views from their home are beautiful overlooking the ocean with a large green space. There’s a table for two outside your private entrance. There’s a bus stop in either direction on the road side of the property, we traveled on the bus every day, if you get the bus pass, you can travel from one end of the island to the other and also use it on the ferries for one price.You can’t ask for a better host and his wife, we hope to return againBetty an Terry

We loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially enjoying the view from the front lawn of the house.With the bus stop only a few steps to the north and a beach a few steps and a staircase to the south, we really took advantage of the location and enjoyed our time spent in Bermuda.Our host and family were friendly, kind, and we appreciated them so much.We would definitely come back.

Wendell and Xinia were very welcoming and kind. They have a beautiful piece of paradise and we’re lucky they are willing to share. I wish we were still there! The location is great. Beach side Beauty

The property is so nice with a beachy vibe. The room is cozy with a full bath, dorm fridge, and microwave. The owner and his wife are so delightful. Wendell took us on a very thorough tour of the island showing us places that we would have not seen had we not been with him. The beach is just a little walk down the block and down some stairs. It’s a gorgeous beach! Of course you won’t find any beach less than beautiful in Bermuda. There are really great restaurants within walking distance as well as Horseshoe Bay Beach. This little piece of paradise is located in a very good area and surrounded by some of the best places to eat. You can’t go wrong with this area and stay.

An excellent place to stay!

I stayed a week at Wendell and his family's home and definitely could have stayed longer. This was a great spot for me, as I love having easy access to a beach without a lot of noise/people. I visited the private beach every day of my stay and most nights as well. It was a great spot to watch the stars at night and the Longtails during the day. The road outside can be busy/noisy with traffic at times, but it's also extremely convenient to have the bus stops right there.I would definitely stay again :)

The stunning beauty of the property and the hospitality of Wendell is exactly as you've read in the other reviews. If you want to stay near the beautiful beaches on the South Shore you can't beat it. If you'd like to be within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and nightlife, Hamilton is probably more your speed.

Great location with lovely private beach

The best parts of our stay were the location of this property, the nearby private beach, and the super nice, and helpful host, Wendell. We stayed in a separate, private section of his home, and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. We'd recommend it to a couple seeking a low-key, affordable getaway!
