Very well equipped gite

Enjoyed our week at the Old Atelier. The gite is extremely well equipped, a home from home, wifi good and TV for the rainy day. Many places to visit within an hour's drive (or just over) so we easily filled our days.

Faultless in every way

A very enjoyable stay. The property was immaculate upon arrival and communication and arrival instructions were excellent. It was well equipped and had everything I needed for a quiet, relaxing stay (when I wasn't out and about exploring). There was even a well stocked welcome pack with some thoughtful, handy essentials. It's situated in a tiny hamlet but only 10 minutes drive from the town of Ruffec which has everything you could need as well as the N10 main road for exploring further afield. Thoroughly recommended.

Great property

The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season.

Lots of thought and care has clearly been put into the gîte in order to ensure a comfortable stay for guests. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. The location is ideal for getting out and about and exploring the area.

Nous avons apprécié ce petit nid douillet situé au calme à la campagne, proche du Périgord. Le contact par mail avec les propriétaires anglais est chaleureux. Le welcome pack -très apprécié- souligne la convivialité de nos hôtes. Je recommande! We enjoyed this cozy little nest located in the quiet countryside, near Périgord. Verblijf in Ruffec - la Renaudière -old atelier gite

Verblijf in de gite als de streek was heel fijn! Fietsen en wandelen deden ons deugd. Bij aanvang met de grote warmte was het aanwezige zwembad welkom geweest. Gelukkig vonden we aangename zwemplaatsen in de regio. Dank voor het grote welkomspakket en de lieve zorg van de eigenaars!

Beautiful quiet retreat

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of space in the Gite although the outside garden is small and the area which gets sun is quite limited. Kitchen very well equipped and brilliant welcome pack. Comfortable sofa, sun loungers and bed. Area very rural, hardly any cars or people around, perfect to completely escape and wind down.
