The view is spectacular, the owners are nice and the house is very clean! That being said, there are definitely pros and cons. It's a bit overpriced for what was more like "glamping" than staying in a home, but if you're into that you'll love the place. The cons: The outdoor shower that was advertised is non-functional and inoperable so there were 6 of us trying to shower in a tub that did not drain. The bedrooms are directly across from each other but there are no doors. There was one curtain for the master, but it was essentially see through. We through a towel over the curtain rod and that helped. There's a toaster oven, but no oven and no hood fan over the stove. The downstairs bathroom is very small and the light was out so we had to use a lantern. BTW, you can only use Marine and RV grade toilet paper VERY sparingly. We had some initial issues that they took care of right away, but they did not take care of the huge wasp nest outside in the top of the ceiling on the front porch.
The Pros: The house was very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. There were plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. in the kitchen. It was fun to be able to swim off the dock and we did use the jumping board with no problems. There were plenty of chairs on the porch for everyone. It was nice to have a porch on the front and on the back. The air conditioner worked fantastic and we were always comfortable. There was a washer and dryer. We didn't need the washer but it was very nice to have a dryer at the end of the day to dry our beach towels. The view was INCREDIBLE!!!! It was also fun to watch the boats come and go out of the marina. It's definitely not a 5 star place but feel eventually it will be. Again, if you're into glamping, you'll love it.
