These guys will treat you well once they get to know you. Do make an effort by building the rapport - stayng couple three times and being normal, well behaved client, nothing special. Also tip gals who work very hard there - well worth it in the long term. Surprisingly its the same crew who have been there for years. So the "Third ave inn" is highly recommended. Do consider it in your travel plans to this not very well known / explored part of OC in Cali.

I didn't like that it states no smoking but when you open the room it smells like they've been smoking inside. This is not my 1st stay & it was the same experience.

Very quiet establishment of the beaten path. Very helpfull personnel once you get to know them - which takes time. Clean comfy no frills rooms which are consistently priced slightly below market in this segment/ area however it only applies to online purchases/ bookings. Can get particularly great deals on weekdays. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time at this property. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything made it easy to relax after spending the day exploring San Diego. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made our weekend feel that much more enjoyable. The location was also very convenient for everything we had planned. I would definitely stay here again on another trip to San Diego and would gladly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you for the great hospitality! — Victor Melendez Jr.

Great for the price. It would be nice tho if they put pictures of all the room sizes. Wasn’t expecting the room to be that small but at least the ac was working fine. Only thing I would suggest adding is a mini refrigerator to the rooms
