Incredible home and views!

We had a fantastic stay at the Birdrock house. House was clean, spacious and the views from the back patio are unbeatable. Short walks for breakfast in the morning and dinner at night were great! We’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding, truly beautiful. The location is fantastic with stunning views, close to restaurants and shopping and very easy parking. The master bedroom and bathroom were spa-like just it says in the comments, staying there made us feel like celebrities. Kitchen and baths were well appointed with anything we needed. Property was super clean and the ocean breezes blowing through were amazing. The management company did a great job communicating with us and we are super excited to stay in this beautiful property in the future.

This place was truly wonderful! The home is spacious and immaculate, the views of the ocean are breathtaking, and the owner is so responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay here in Bird Rock! The house is beautiful and had all the amenities we needed for our family. The location is ideal to walk to restaurants/shops and the ocean view was perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful La Jolla home

Exactly as described and pictured. Very clean, all the comforts of home, and the view was amazing. Listening to the waves every night was heavenly.

Excellent Oceanfront property

Very well designed and furnished home in a great location. Worked out perfectly for our family of three. The back deck had excellent views over the Bay and was a great place to watch the surfers and wildlife. We found the property managers to be very responsive and the house set up to be welcoming - fire & lights on, etc. upon arrival as well as their offer to stock the place with groceries. Parking was never an issue during our stay. Will definitely stay again should we be in the area.

Beautiful home and location!!

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the views this is the house. Such a beautiful house and location. Great accommodations in all aspects. Management was very responsive and we didn't have any issues at all. We will be back again. :)

Had a wonderful time. House is beautiful. Loved the deck and master bedroom/bathroom. Couple things to note: screen in bedroom is broke. Missing wheels on lower rack dishwasher and air filter need to be changed, it's very filthy. Lastly, the outside fireplace meed to be fixed. The drawer will not slide all the way out so you have to pick up the table and role out the tank.

Absolutely incredible View

The view on the water was fantastic. Fire pit was a nice touch for the cool nights. The house was right around the corner from coffee shops and other stuff yet right on the water which is hard to accomplish. Generally I would say the house was very clean and well stocked with things you might need In the drawers In the kitchen. I would caution and even enters that this house does not sleep more than two couples despite it saying it sleep six there are only two bedrooms but there is a full bath outside the living room where the pull-out couch is. Also there is an extraordinary disparity between the large master bedroom and bath up above with spectacular ocean views and a very small queen size bedroom on the first level which does not have a view.

Amazing Place, Location and Views!

Pros: The view, the view, the view! Great location about half way between Mission Beach and La Jolla town center Upstairs primary suite is amazing, comfortable and spacious. Absolutely loved the older Speakman showerhead. So nice to actually be able to rinse off the suds with some real water pressure. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and spices Did I mention the view! Parking was easy even though there is no driveway for parking They accept dogs Cons(only minor): Paper products are cheap. When I spend well over a $1000/nt, I expect to have luxury paper towels and toilet paper and not "prison grade" paper products. Even though they accept dogs, there is no real area for them to go. Be ready to walk your dogs 1-2 blocks whenever they need to go out. Overall, I highly recommend this house. Our stay here was incredible. We could have stayed there forever.

Easy stay, beautiful home

This home was perfect for 2 couples. The first floor master suite and ground level entrance made it easily accessible/comfortable for my 83 yo parents & the views can't be beat. The upstairs master suite is lovely, spacious, and allows you to fall asleep to the waves every night. Location is in a quiet, walkable neighborhood (they were doing construction on a house a few doors down but it was never bothersome). We barely saw any neighbors and there was no issue with street parking in front of the house. Coffee, wine bar, and several restaurants are within easy walking distance. The house itself had a few minor wear and tear issues (freezer drawer and a pull out cabinet were very difficult to open and close), but nothing that detracted from the experience. My only suggestion to the hosts is to upgrade the outdoor furniture. The balcony/patio is the highlight of the home and where we spent the majority of our time. The fire pit is delightful, but the furniture around it is not remotely comfortable for any period of time. There's also very little shade offered by the small movable umbrella most of the day. A few nice outdoor couches and chairs with more (or a larger) umbrellas would make this home perfection.

It’s a 2 bedroom house. The house is old, but well maintained. All the amenities were fine, we had no issues. The house is exactly like what you see in the pictures. Vacasa was very helpful. Overall, a great trip. We enjoyed it. If this is your first time to San Diego, a word of caution. The car rental place is NOT at the airport, but quite a bit far away. You might have to stand in line with your luggage for a long time to get on the free shuttle to the car rental place. I would recommend, just get an Uber to go to the car rental place, instead of standing in line forever. Same thing, when you drop off your rented vehicle. Uber is much better than the free shuttle, you are going to miss your flight, waiting in line.
