This is an older property from the era of mom and pop motels. The outside is a bit rugged but there has been a significant effort to make the rooms as nice as possible, Everything was very clean and in excellent repair. there was no trace of the dirt and mildew that too often is typical of this kind of property. I would recommend it for a quiet, comfortable nights sleep.

It was pet friendly, HOWEVER, we were uable to stay because of the A/C unit not being turned on. It was a small wall unit and had not been on all day. The temp in Lamar was 107 degrees that day. We could not stay in the hot room with our two Golden retrievers. Had to find a different room at 10 at night!
