We welcome you to a farmhouse that we have been renovating - with love - since 2016.
This 40m2 gite opened in the summer of 2022 in an old rehabilitated agricultural barn. It is up to standard to accommodate people with reduced mobility and in the process of being awarded the ""Tourism and Disability"" label for the 4 disabilities (motor, mental, visual, hearing).
The character of the old wooden frame and the modern comfort of a recent gîte, guarantee you a comfortable stay in our farmhouse, located in a quiet area, in the bucolic little village of Madelaine-sous-Montreuil in Côte d' Opale, near remarkable tourist sites (Montreuil-sur-Mer, Le Touquet Paris-Plage) and the most beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Opale (Stella, Merlimont, Berck-sur-mer, etc.).
With a capacity of 4 people, including 3 bedrooms (1 with single bed on the ground floor and 2 upstairs with double bed and single bed), 1 open fitted kitchen, 1 bathroom. The cottage is completely new, all furniture and equipment are new.
The rooms are equipped with high quality bedding. The bedroom on the ground floor has 1 bed of 90*190 cm.
The upstairs double bedroom is equipped with a 160*200 cm ""Queen size"" bed. The single bedroom upstairs has 1 bed of 90*190 cm.

In all beds, you will sleep in organic cotton sheets for more comfort...and sweet dreams!

If you arrive on Friday or Saturday, know that you can order your local vegetables, fruits, meats until Wednesday midnight on https://www.drive-fermier.fr/montreuillois-62/ (collection point: Ecuires) we will pick up your shopping on Friday at 6 p.m. and you can eat local Montreuillois products during your stay.

A few key points to remember:

Arrival times are scheduled in the afternoon from 5 p.m.Please inform us in advance of your arrival time, especially in case of late or deferred arrival. Departure times are scheduled in the morning before 11am . Bed linen and bath towels are provided The gîte is equipped with the necessary consumables at the beginning of the stay, it is then up to you to restock them (coffee, tea, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, detergent, toilet paper, soap, etc.) An entry inventory and an exit inventory with inventory are provided when the keys are handed over and returned. According to the regulations in force, the tourist tax is €0.40 per day and per person, this amount will be requested from you at the time of your departure during the inventory of fixtures. The amount of the security deposit for the rental of this tourist accommodation is €500 , regardless of the length of stay. A check for this amount will be requested upon your arrival during the entry inventory.It will be returned to you after the exit inventory if the furnished accommodation is returned in the same condition as on your arrival.

The farm is ideally located and you will spend a stay between cultural tourism (Montreuil-sur-Mer is 5 minutes away, discover its ramparts, its citadel, its cobbled streets…), gastronomic (Montreuil-sur-Mer is a well-known gastronomic destination with its many restaurants and terraces and we are lucky to be a stone's throw from La Grenouillère, Chef Alexandre Gauthier's two-starred restaurant, shopping, golf and beaches (seaside resorts of Le Touquet, Stella, Merlimont, Berck...about fifteen minutes).
Discovery of Etaples, a fishing town with its fishmongers (every day, seafood products are available on the stalls in the port of Etaples), the Maréis museum-aquarium ("an original concept makes you discover current fishing in étaplo, renowned throughout France for its quality and know-how, as well as animal species from the English Channel and the North Sea."")
