"We did a one night stop driving in and parking is at a premium on the street. Very high quality as new condition place with some English but not much. Be carefully when booking the rooms they have 4 and it looked like some are shared bathroom ,the one we had appeared private but could be accessed from the shared breakfast area . Happy to stay again as long as we are fit enough to climb stairs off the street to the rooms."

"Very accommodating. Stefano allowed early check-in and he was so kind to drive us to the Milazzo train station. The place is easy to find and Stefano is easy to contact by phone or WhatsApp. Kitchen is stocked with treats, coffee, tea, milk, bread, jams. He has a beautiful patio. Under a lemon tree and he allowed us to take some lemons home. The place is very clean and comfortable. Would love to come back and enjoy the beautiful beach right in front of the house."

"I don't know if we missed it in the hotel description, but it was a weird check-in process and the hotel is not a 'real' hotel, it's just rooms in an apartment building, so there's no hotel staff. There's also no breakfast room, you have to go to a nearby bar to get breakfast (which consists of only one cornetto and a beverage). The room itself was nice and clean, very spacious. Comfy bed."

"The host, Guiseppe was very accommodating. The ferries were not running to the Aeolian islands due to weather conditions, and this place was available. We were fortunate that we stayed here on such short notice and with quick entry to property. Very close to ferry, cafes, and shops. Parking is a little hectic, but we found spots close to apartment. "I'm used to 3 star hotels. This hotel is truly 4 star. The cleanliness, the staff and our very affordable ocean view suite with spectacular views of Mt. Etna, the Straits of Messina, and sunsets was wonderful. The robes and slippers is a nice perk. The hotel location is a few minutes walk to the high speed ferry to Messina, Sicily and a few minutes walk to the Lido train station. The hotel is convenient to the Lungomare waterfront and the famous Archeological Museum as well as several art galleries and shopping. All less than 10 minutes away by walking. Bocconissimo, the fabulous hotel restaurant, is open for a full buffet breakfast 7-10 am and dinner from 7:30-10 pm with a spectacular menu from delicious pizza to scrumptious pasta dishes, all with no salt and pepper needed, like some restaurants in Italy I've experienced. The downside to this hotel is the surroundings which were devastated by storm Harry in January. The city is working hard to restore the waterfront. However,don't miss this one!!!"
