Not Recommended!
Whilst the host was very affable and generally eager to assist, the introduction on the first day became a list of the things that were not working; Of the 2 Aircon units in the living area, we were advised only one was usable as the other leaked, and of the 4 ceiling fans in the living area only 2 worked.
As it turned out, the 1 remaining aircon unit also leaked and so was not usable, leaving NO aircon at all in the living area, and 1 of the 2 'working' ceiling fans only ran on slow speed.
The aircon leak was reported and the host had a look, but could not fix and could not get an engineer during our stay.
The Living area furniture was horribly stained, and nobody felt comfortable to sit on any of it during our stay, and empty plastic bottles were found under the bed in one room, plus we had to sweep up throughout as there was dust and hairs all over the floor, despite being charged nearly 200 Euros for cleaning, as a mandatory rental fee.
We asked for a list of recommended restaurants, which we never got, and it is almost impossible to get local taxis to the location, as all either refused or just put the phone down.
During the weekdays, heavy drilling went on from a villa above this one, and on the Thursday gardeners arrived unannounced and the pool and patio area was unusable for 2 hours.
Unable to get taxis, even to take us to the airport for a return flight, we had to have a family member come from 120km away to give us a lift.
No offer from the host was made to help secure taxis, even though we informed them of the problem. They only sent a few numbers, a couple of which were the same company.
Altogether, the property COULD be lovely if cleaned and in working order, but a hire car is essential, and better planning of gardeners etc by the host for when renters are not in the property would avoid inconveniencing those paying to stay there.
Not one I would return to nor recommend, as other family members who were renting around the area, attending the same event, had much much better experiences.
