" Die Wohnung ist großzügig, sauber, hell und nett eingerichtet. Sie ist sicher (Concierge am Eingang) und die Lage ist gut. Wir konnten ohne Probleme eine Nacht verlängern.Die Wohnung hat keine Heizung und bei nur 3 Grad (nachts im Oktober) war es ziemlich kalt. Ansonsten wäre die Wohnung perfekt.- Der Check in war etwas holprig. Ich hatte mit dem Vermieter über FeWo-direkt Kontakt und wir hätten um 13 Uhr einchecken können. Vor Ort hatte uns der Concierge ins Gebäude gelassen. Er wollte einen...

Hotel Sagarnaga

8/10 Good

"Hotel Sagarnaga is in an excellent location right in the middle of all the action on Calle Sagarnaga. Our stay was smooth overall, featuring an easy check-in and check-out, reliable luggage storage, and a decent breakfast spread to start the day. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. On the downside, the rooms were a little small and lack some basic amenities like a hairdryer, while the provided space heater felt a bit small as well. Additionally, while the staff did call us a taxi for the airport, they weren't very helpful with coordinating the transfer details which meant we had to organise our own transport instead. Overall, it is an okay option for a short stay."

"This is a good, solid, clean, well-run hotel at the level of 3 or 4 stars. It presents itself as a FIVE-star hotel, however, and that is "false advertising." It lacks air conditioning, for instance, and thus exposes guests to the heat that the intense high-altitude sun produces in North-facing rooms. Moreover, it clearly shows its age; no signs of recent upgrades. Thus, it is clearly not a top, luxury hotel & does not deserve 5 stars. 3 or maybe 4 stars -- that is its level."

"This hotel has been great value for money. Centrally located, safe to walk to and from. Close to El Prado, La Paz´s main venue. Breakfast is good, staff are very helpful, beds are comfortable and the shower in the morning is hot (pressure can be an issue). Persons with respiratory/mobility challenges may find Aspiazu and Guachaya (the two streets that lead to the Hotel) difficult as they are quite a steep uphill walk."
