Virgili is a protected architectural declared a Heritage Interest. When meeting on a small hill and enjoys magnificent views.
The house has 150m2 habitable on 2 floors plus solarium.
On the ground floor is the dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
The first floor has two bedrooms en suite and living room.
The set has a spacious shared with another apartment and several places where you rest or play family garden.

Très bon séjour

La maison était telle que décrite sur l’annonce et l’accueil de Ferran très chaleureux, encore merci à lui. On a bien pu profiter de la piscine durant les chaleurs et la maison est idéalement située pour visiter Tarragone, Reus ou encore Barcelone. Sinon les nombreuses plages sont toutes proches. Tres joli coin de Catalogne qui a plu à toute la famille ! Et encore merci à Oriol pour sa souplesse et sa réactivité.

Wonderful medieval setting, very welcoming hosts, everything needed available. Rural surrounding and marvellous beaches. Plus daytrip-distance to Barcelona, Montserrat, Tarragona.

Una casa con historia y carácter

No se trata de un chalet en una urbanización de playa, se trata de una casa de más de 200 años de historia, rehabilitada, situada a cinco kilómetros del mar, sobre un promontorio con dominio de vistas sobre el entorno natural del cauce del rio Gaià. No es tan cómoda como una casa moderna en una urbanización, (hay dos o tres peldaños entre cada dormitorio y su baño correspondiente, por ejemplo) pero lo suple con su carácter y diversidad de espacios interiores y exteriores. La planta baja tiene un gran comedor, un pequeño estar interior con hogar, y la cocina, muy funcional y perfectamente equipada, bajo una antigua chimenea. Se gravan en la memoria los desayunos por la mañana en el mirador natural sobre la Riera de Gaià, con el fondo visual del mar y la torre del castillo de Tamarit, y las infusiones de media tarde sentados en la puerta de la casa, a la sombra de los muros de piedra y arbolado, ocupando lo que sería la calle mayor, refrescada por suave brisa, calle definida por el grupo de tres o cuatro casa que constituyen Virgili. La casa es tal y como aparece en la web, y así mismo la piscina, situada descendiendo la ladera en un entorno ajardinado, con duchas y baño, cocina-barbacoa disponible, etc. Los propietarios, encantadores. Es una casa de campo, más que una casa de playa. Altamente recomendable. Muy fácil el acceso directo al casco urbano de Altafulla y sus playas.

wunderschönes Haus

Von der Begrüßung mit kleiner Einführung in die Geschichte dieses wunderschönen Anwesens aus dem 17. Jh. bis zur bequemen Abreise hatten wir eine tolle Woche. Trotz des Alters machte das Haus insgesamt einen tollen Eindruck, sauber und ordentlich, mit einer tollen Kombination des historischen mit dem Modernen. Es ist reichlich Platz vorhanden und alles, was man zur Selbstversorgung braucht. Der Pool ist vollkommen in Ordnung und als Highlight gibt es dort direkt ein WC und eine Dusche. Sowohl auf der Dach-, als auch auf der Poolterrasse kann man gemütlich essen. Bei großer Hitze ist der einzige Wehrmutstropfen die fehlende Klima- oder Ventilatoranlage. Insgesamt hat es soo viel Spaß gemacht, durch dieses historische Anwesen zu stöbern und die Seele am Pool baumeln zu lassen. Immer weiter zu empfehlen!

Muchas vacaciones en un solo lugar

El alojamiento es espectacular, por ubicación, estado de consevación y calidad de los espacios interiores. La rehabilitación esta realizada con calidad y calidez en los materiales y los espacios interiores, la cocina perfectamente equipada, los baños comodos. Si quires descansar, el espacio es perfecto, además las playas estan a 10 minutos en coche, Tarragona a 15 minutos y es un descubrimiento si te gusta la historia.

Wonderful 'native' stay

This place is wonderful. Living in a small village like Catalan natives of years past (but with all modern amenities). Nice roof terrace. Only drawback is proximity to restaurants and other facilities-car necessary. After day of touring, I like to have a drink or two and not have to drive. But the place was worth the inconvenience.

Logeren in een prachtige authentieke woning van een afgelegen gehucht op een boogscheut van zee.

Heel fijne dagen hebben we gehad in deze mooie en authentieke woning die prima gelegen ligt voor daguitstappen naar zee, tarragona, reus, etc... in het afgelegen gehucht op een heuvel kom je helemaal tot rust en verkoeling aan een gezellig zwembad. Een aanrader.

Maison atypique

Belle maison dans un site classé, dommage qu'elle n'a pas d'accès direct à la piscine et à la cuisine extérieure comprises dans la location, Un peu de marche est à prévoir pour pouvoir profiter de ces 2 prestations. Tout est à disposition dans la maison : cuisine, lave vaisselle, lave linge, sèche linge. Le débit d'eau est trop faible pour les douches mais une douche est à disposition à côté de la piscine. La maison est joliment décorée. Une terrasse est accessible au dernier étage de la maison mais trop juste pour 5 personnes.
