"L'appartement est très spacieux ( nous étions 3 adultes et deux enfants en bas âge). Il a les équipements nécessaires et il est d'un calme absolu ce qui est remarquable car le quartier ( celui du marché) est vraiment très animé). La situation est parfaite au coeur même de la Cité. Nous avons cependant regretté de ne pas pouvoir avoir deux jeux de clés et badges. Nous avions des activités différentes et même avec les téléphones portables, récupérer les clés de l'appartement n' était pas évident."

"The property is exactly as described; an absolute gem in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and provided us with a lot of information about local events and a variety of activities we could do. There is a shop next door and a choice of boulangeries nearby. The Vieux Port, the Towers and the market are all within easy walking distance. We loved every minute we were there."

"Great location overlooking the beach. Super public transport links - bus stop just outside the development with very regular service. Shops bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Easy communication with owners to arrange access. Great place to combine some beach time with easy access to all that La Rochelle has to offer."

"The apartment has everything you need for a vacation. Despite temperatures of over 30 degrees, it was relatively cool in the apartment even without air conditioning. The sea view from the balcony was amazing. The location was great. 3 minutes to the beach and about 15 minutes by water bus or bike to the center of La Rochelle. The apartment is a bit older and needs to be renovated. Some things were very worn, but still acceptable. Reine was a great host and communication worked very well. Towels...

"The patio is a nice place to relax and the living room has historic character with stone arch. No coffee pods when we arrived but there is a Carrefour next door. Overall excellent value."
