Stroll through La Rochelle's old town and pick out delicious ingredients for dinner at La Rochelle's famous unmissable market. The old Fort Boyard prison, located in the sea off the coast of La Rochelle, is still a captivating experience. Observe the underwater world at the enchanting aquarium, experience the animals at the La Palmyre Zoo and enjoy the charming atmosphere on the islands, Ile de Ré and Ile d'Oléron. Don't miss the small free animal park with ducks, goats, chickens and cows and walk along the coast in the evening glow.
