"We stayed 4 nights in this lovely cottage and really enjoyed it! Communication with the host was fantastic. The location is wonderful and the beds were comfy. Good kitchen with some staples which come in handy. Great spot to stay in Turkey Point. "

"The host was super, the property and location were excellent. There are a few things needed in the house, lamps in all 3 bedrooms, there was 1 in one bedroom. Lamps in the livingroom, the ceiling spotlights were too bright in the evening..The . Kitchen needs more frying pans (only1) and more serving bowls. "

"We really enjoyed the stay as it is steps from dining and the Lighthouse theatre where we attended a concert. Perfect location to enjoy all that Port Dover has to offer!"

"The house was double booked. When we showed up to the house there was already people staying in it, and we had to scramble at 10PM to find a hotel room for 8 people. Called the owner and he advised us that he doesn't even have the house listed on VRBO. Book with caution!!!"

"Very thoughtful accommodations. Can’t think of a thing that we needed that wasn’t there. Beautiful eclectic decor with visitor’s comfort in mind. A few minor hiccups upon arrival that were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Had a great time. "

"We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. The place is great, it has all the appliances and it's well equipped. The bed, as mentioned in other reviews is a bit small if you're a tall person, but it is accurate to what the listing says.To make it better, I would just suggest some curtains in the bedroom, so it's not super bright in the morning, but that was not detrimental to us. We used the Jacuzzi, the barbecue grill, the oven, and everything was clean and fully functional. The location is great. The neighborhood is very quiet, but you can easily walk to more busy areas, if that's you like. It's also very close to parks, trails and different beaches. We hit Turkey Point beach and also Long Point (our personal favourite). Check-in/check-out was the easiest I've experienced.We recommend and will be coming back!"
