Two family vacation

Two families stayed in the apartment. It looks like in description. Kitchen was well equipped. Host was very friendly. The only minus there is almost no place to store ski equipment.

Great location in the old village. Brigette who manages the property so helpful, welcoming and always available. The English version on the VBRO website is not clear as to the fact no sheets and towels are provided. Plenty of room for 6 but 8 may be a squash in the seating area. Well equipped kitchen including a teapot (great for the English!). The apartment has a rustic/alpine ambience.

Séjour agréable en famille pendant les fêtes

Superbe séjour à la Salle dans un appartement très sympathique, bien situé, à 5 minutes à pied des pistes.L'appartement est bien équipé et nous avons été très bien accueillis par Brigitte.Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants et le logement était bien adapté.Petit couac de lave-vaisselle pendant le séjour mais pas d'inquiétudes, il sera remplacé :)

Vacances au ski

Appartement très pratique et agréable avec une pièce à vivre (salon-cuisine) vaste et très bien équipée, de nombreuses fenêtres et deux salles de bains avec WC très fonctionnelles. Bonne literie. Procédure d'arrivée et de départ parfaite avec Brigitte, toujours de bon conseil et disponible ; merci !Deux petits bémols sur le vieil escalier d'accès de la copropriété (pentu pour personnes âgés ou avec handicap) et l'isolation phonique avec l'appartement au dessus (nous n'avons pas gênés car nous avions les mêmes horaires de vie que les autres occupants).L'accès aux pistes et commerces est idéal (très bon boulanger tout proche). Pas besoin de la voiture pendant tout le séjour ;-)

Grand, avec de la vraie place et des vraies chambres pour accueillir 4 adultes et 4 enfants. Double salle d'eau / double WC très bien, grand séjour. Seul bémol, parfois bruyant si du monde au-dessus (deux grands apparts) et lors du nettoyage du resto en-dessous. Propreté dépend des personnes avant, ça peut paraître non nickel pour des maniaques.

L'appartement est très bien placé pour faire toutes les activités : escalade, via ferrata, randonnées....L'appartement est très fonctionnelle pour une famille de 6. Il est situé dans le centre du village, sans bruit malgré les restaurants. Même avec la canicule, l'appartement reste frais. On recommande !

Functional apartment in ski/winter convenient position

Very functional, comfortable, traditional-oriented and cozy apartment in a seasoned village house at the first floor, without high-end luxury or design. Suitable for two families (2+2 kids and their parents). Less than 5 minutes’ walk to ski tracks (the Araret gondola), surrounded by restaurants and with bakery and shops at walking distance. Good general equipment (kitchen, etc.) and cleanliness. Fussy guys may spot some minor maintenance details fixable here and there. At the time of our booking, announcement was far better detailed in French than English or Italian; very worth noting that this property is NOT suitable for people with reduced mobility due to a steep rustic staircase to get at the 1st floor. View (panorama) from windows is not that much indeed. Some details have been updated (improved) compared to pictures in Vrbo site. Someone may like to know that one bathroom has a window, the second one do not. We would have liked the bed sheets included, instead of a perceived pricey additional charge (yet avoidable carrying yours).

Cet appartement est bien équipé, confortable et bien aménagé ce qui permet de vivre des vacances sereines entre amis. Si vous avez des skis, il vous faudra trouver une alternative, il n y a pas de local dédié.

Brilliant Apartment in a brilliant location

Honestly can't really fault anything about the apartment. For 6 of us there was plenty of room and all the beds and facilities were excellent. Large communal cooking/sitting space which made for a fantastic environment. Brigitte was a very accommodating renter and communication was fast and reliable. Highly recommend

Good apartment but

I don't usually give such negative reviews, I usually chalk it down to experience but I do like to be treated fairly! The apartment itself is good, spacious and a great location, the internet didn't work and therefore the TV didn't either as it was a smart TV. Brigette who looks after the apartment contacted the owners and the problem was nobody had an up to date password, we were told it couldn't be found but Brigette did secure access to the restaurant downstairs internet although this was very patchy and the signal often dropped out completely and this didn't help with the TV but we didn't make a fuss as we didn't want to put a negative vibe on the holiday and I would highly recommend Serre Chavalier to anyone. What was totally outrageous though about this week was the 50 Euro charge deducted from the deposit Brigette took claiming the apartment was left "needing work". The deposit was bank transfered 2 days after we got home, when i questioned this as our party had cleaned the apartment from top to bottom, bins emptied, recycling done, we even swept the whole floor with a dustpan and brush as there was no broom to hand and when Brigette arrived to check us out she thanked us for our efforts so imagine my surprise to be stopped 50 Euro's, Brigette did send one photo as her evidence it showed 5 - 6 water marks around a sink, where we had cleaned and perhaps not quite dried enough with another cloth but that's it so even if these marks did need correcting that would have taken seconds and not 50 Euro's worth.
