「My wife and I stayed at San Felipe for 8 nights in June 2025. We had a wonderful time there and enjoyed every minute. This is a place devoted to birds and birders, with an excellent bird guide on staff. The cabins are spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and freshly cooked each day. The owners of the property live on site and are very friendly and helpful (and speak English).」

「This place is amazing great people the only problem I have is that they try to force tips on you by secretly adding it to your bill. Tips should be earned not all staff deserve a tip. I was at the rooftop patio and had the most horrible server I had to get my own water get up and request napkins at the bar because my server failed to do his job by stereotyping people who he thought had money he attended to well. 「Cómodo y limpio」

「The service here is exceptional. I lost my phone in an uber and the staff did everything they could to get it back. A day later they were able to retrieve my phone which is completely unheard of. I was blown away by their hospitality. I would recommend this place over chipichape hotel only because it was less busy and it’s right across the street.」
