“This was our first trip to Nicarauga and although we've spent lots of time in other countries throughout Central America, we weren't sure what to expect. All I can say is absolutely believe all of the wonderful reviews. This house, this property, the cuidadors, and SJDS are absolutely magical. The house is one of the nicest VRBO's we've ever stayed in. (And by far the best value!!) Spotlessly clean, beautiful, and had literally everything we needed for our week long stay. “This villa is the perfect retreat spot with spectacular views of the bay. Our host was super responsive and accommodating. The villa is set up with all the essentials including rockers and table, chaise chairs and a hammock for nap time 😉. The house is comfortable despite the afternoon heat but cross ventilation helps immensely. It’s less than a 10 minute walk into town and although the return walk is a bit in the steep side - totally walkable or you can catch a taxi in town vs walking or……

“Nous y avons passés 11 nuits (3 adultes et 2 enfants de 4 et 7 ans). c'est une très belle maison avec une très jolie vue. Tout est bien pensé, ce qui rend la maison très agréable à vivre. Aucun soucis pour y venir avec des enfants. Le personnel s'occupant de l’extérieur (jardin/piscine) est très efficace et très discret. La maison est sur les hauteurs de San Juan sans commerce ni restaurant à proximité ce qui veut dire 10-15 min de trajet pour se rendre en ville, par contre cela permet d'être……

The location is great- just a short walk to Playa Gigante and Playa Amarillo. We walked everyday to surf, eat, and swim. El Gigante is seriously a hidden gem in Nicaragua and so is this place. “I was very happy with the choice of staying at this place. I stayed for two months and was able to cook. The beds were comfortable and the space felt large. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs that has views of the mountains. So when it rains you can still hang out on the porch. The sunset clouds are so beautiful. There is the most wonderful local family that overseas the property. The only downside is the road up to the place is really rough.”

“Amazing house and the views were even better than the listing photos! Easy drive to town. 4WD is recommended during rainy season as it's a steep dirt road to the house. The property caretakers (next door in the guest house) were quick to respond with any needs. Really enjoyed our stay. 5 stars all around.”

“Our stay here was AMAZING! The house was very clean and the staff (Allan and his wife, Leticia) were super helpful. They cooked us some delicious dinners and were very attentive to all our Needs. The pool is great, we had some amazing sunsets and We were a short walk to Remanzo beach. We went for my sister’s 40th birthday and there were 13 of us, the house was super spacious and just so Comfortable. We made some amazing memories here and hope to be back soon”

“Staying at Casa De Mono for almost two weeks was the highlight of a month-long trek across four Latin American countries. We felt so much peace the moment we walked through the doors, thanks to the incredible view (the sunsets are phenomenal). Communication was easy with the caretaker, the workers were phenomenal when they’d come to take care of the pool and clean up, and I felt safe even when I spent time alone at the home if my partner went out to run errands. We saw monkeys almost every day,……

“Playa el Coco is a beautiful, serene spot. The condo was immaculate, large, comfortable, and it had a fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals. The air conditioning was very welcome! It was wonderful to be so close to the beach.”

“The Cooper house and the Casita Romantica is everything as edvertised. My wife and 8 year old son truly enjoyed the great views, local shopping and amazing food just 5 minutes away from the house. I like to give a special recognition to Gabriel Zamora, the property manager for being on top of things during our stay. He made sure our pool clean and the the house keepers did a great job daily of our rooms and living areas.”

“We had 2 families with 4 teenagers and a child between us, and this house fit us perfectly. It was very comfortable for us. Plenty of areas like small living rooms to hang out in, and the pool was large enough for our group. Everything you need is in the kitchen, bring your own groceries.”

“Property is beautiful and sunset views take your breath away. The master bedroom is huge and has the most amazing views in addition to outdoor showers. We had a really great time. Check in was a little tough as we were not able to get a hold of the owner based on VRBO information and the house was not ready when we arrived. Luckily we were able to get a hold of another property manager and a couple came as fast as they could to get the house ready. The cleaning team was really nice and rushed to……

“Hotel Victoriano is a gorgeous hotel. They take really great care of the grounds and the hotel itself. Everyone that worked there was amazing. Carlos was especially helpful.
