“The sound insulation of the hotel and the external street is too bad. The carpet inside the hotel is too old. Need to be updated”

“The staff and the restaurant are great. The ambience is always good and the quirkiness of the former prison is fun to stay in. On the negative side, the room has not a single hook or hanger for a towel, the towels are too small and the toilet paper seems like genuine prison standard”

“Pls don’t pick this hotel if u expect u can have hotel normal service. They are digital hotel with no reception, no housekeeping from 1pm to other day morning. U they don’t expect u need a glass, or a fork and they won’t provide them in the room. To their suggestion, as a digital hotel, I think u should let your customer get those they need in a digital way, say self service counter for necessary. I didn’t get the digital key email before my check in. Lucky that I arrived a bit early before……

“Es war alles top. Nettes Personal, tolle Lage, gute Matratze, Dusche, ausreichende Auswahl am Frühstück. Es war nur etwas schade dass Cappuccino, Espresso etc. wohl nur gegen Aufpreis zu bekommen waren. Schwarzer Kaffee und Tee war aber inklusive. Wir würden wieder kommen 🙂 ”

“The room is well-renovated and clean. Nearby environment is beautiful and quite. However, the transportation is too inconvenient. It requires almost an hour to go to the hotel from Amsterdam Central.”

“Schone kamer met alles wat er nodig was. Iets grotere prullenbak zou ik adviseren en er was weinig plaats voor toilettas e.d. Paar haakjes aan de badkamer deur voor je kleding Verder alles prima, geen personeel gezien kunnen we dus ook niet over oordelen.”

“Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. Very nice and helpful staff. Oh, and the breakfast is well worth the money. Everything is tasty.”

“Breakfast option to make your own in a corridor and carry everything back to your room was a joke and we will not be staying here again”
