“Great cabin enjoyed the pool and hot tub after we got the temp down to 104. The kitchen was big a lot of different things to use. The coffee was great. “I spent 2 nights in the guest house/apt. Located off a quiet farm road the location is great for relaxing or access to Bois D'Arc lake. “The cabin is very nice, but the positives stop there. I showed up and someone else was in the cabin I had booked. It took an hour to get in touch with the property manager while I sat in my car and he told me to go to a different cabin; I started feeling better about things. However, a stranger came in at 9am in the morning without knocking and woke me up - I have no idea why, and frankly that’s just unsafe. “Our family stayed here for 5 nights to watch the solar eclipse, and it was absolutely fantastic! Justin and Stacy were wonderful hosts, very responsive to message communications leading up to the stay, and they ensured we had everything we needed, including leaving us farm fresh eggs and coffee. “Overall we had a great stay! I would give a few suggestions, such as fans in the living area, even with the A/C set low it was stuffy and warm. In the bedrooms, the fan would not run unless the lights were on, again it got hot at night. The lock on the back door was broken, so we could not access the back yard patio.
