Casa Guari is located in a lovely, quiet residential area just outside Lagos. Casa Guari is the separate and completley independent right wing of a detached property. The left wing is private and unused. In front of the house is a pretty lawn area with a playground for small children.
The house itself is modern, light and attractively furnished with typically Portuguese touches. Entering from the front is the living room; at the other end a fully equipped open plan kitchen. A corridor to the right leads to 2 bedrooms sharing the bathroom. The kitchen has garden access. There are some steps leading down to the fantastic pool area and partly covered pool terrace.
In short:
A great, very well maintained property with lots of flowers which give the whole place a welcoming and bright appearance.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Alles war wirklich gut. Vom Empfang bis zum Schluss.Eigentlich sind Bilder von Ferienhäüsern ja immer geschönt. Hier werden die Bilder der Unterkunft aber nicht gerecht. Wir fanden es besser als auf den Bildern.Alles ist Tip Top sauber und gepflegt. Die Anlage ist bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Jose und Fatima sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Sie waren zwar fast täglich da, man hat sie aber kaum bemerkt. Und wenn man sie bemerkt hat, dann durch einen sehr freundliches Gespräch und die Frage ob alles in Ordnung sei. Am Ende haben wir sogar noch ein Gastgeschenk bekommen - hab ich bisher noch nie erlebt.Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die sehr kleine Spülmaschine. Mit 4 Personen nach dem Frühstück schon voll - hat unseren Urlaub aber nicht wirklich beeinträchtigt. Und wie in wirklich jeder Ferienunterkunft: nehmt euch ein scharfes Küchenmesser von zu Hause mit ;-)

In the hills of Lagos

Lovely property, great for my family of 4. Only 10 minutes drive to Lagos or Luz or 10 euros in an uber. Swimming pool lovely, beds are very frim could do with a topper. Owners near by and very friendly. We stay 2 weeks wish it was much longer. Lots to do for days out, dolphin watching is a must .Small car recommend to fit through property gates (we had a fiat panda) Enjoy your stay.

Everything is good so far.

We felt very comfortable during our 12 days there. Jose and Fatima were hardly noticeable. Most mornings we met Jose when the little Jack-Russel-Terrier "Chanel" had to go out. We were always asked if everything was ok. great: - secure property, very well kept - very clean and apparently renovated flat - great shower in the bathroom - nice pool for everyone, unfortunately too cold for us - 2 nice terraces, the back one with a great view to the west. - parking space right in front of the door - some nights were wonderfully quiet (despite the many dogs in the area) not so great: - there are no real fly screens in front of the windows - the beds are very hard and you can already feel the springs - outside the property there are many dogs that often bark at night All in all, we felt very comfortable. A car is necessary, for example, to go shopping in Lagos. We have been to Lagos many times, so this time we did a few new things in the direction of Luz. The algarve is always worth a trip.

Wonderful place and location

Casa Guari is a wonderful place for a private and relaxing vacation - wonderful hosts and hospitality. The only surprise to us was that we had to pay separately for acces to use the air condition on location as we know we booked a place incl A/C like we have done for the past 15 years using Home Away/Vrbo.

Wunderbarer Familienurlaub an der Algarve

Die Unterkunft sowie die Eigentümer sind wundervoll. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt und man kann von dort mit dem Auto jede Menge Ausflüge machen. Der Außenbereich ist einfach super gelegen, so dass es immer Sonne aber auch Schatten gibt. Meine Frau und unsere zwei Kinder haben den Pool geliebt und unsere Tochter hat hier schwimmen gelernt. Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!

Tolles Haus und Umgebung

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und lässt keine Wünsche zur Ausstattung übrig. Grundstück und Poolumgebung sind liebevoll und wetterbedingt intelligent gestaltet. Die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich, aber selten anwesend. Daher hat man, trotz Doppelhaus, das Gefühl auf einem alleinigen Anwesen Urlaub zu machen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall nötig, da Lagos doch ein Stück entfernt ist.

Tolle Anlage für alle Altersgruppen

Es war eine sehr saubere, gepflegte und traumhaft schöne Unterkunft. Man hat den Pool für sich alleine und alles wichtige ist vorhanden. Jose ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Mich haben die Federn in den Betten gestört, das fand ich etwas unangenehm. Ich würde trotzdem auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Leider stand in der Anzeige der Agentur nicht, dass man für die Klimaanlage zahlen muss (ca.100 Euro pro Woche). Das sollte auf jeden Fall erwähnt werden.

- sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieter - Flasche Wein zur Ankunft, welche den Ankunftsabend gerettet hatte, da in Portugal ab 20 Uhr Verkaufsverbot für alkoholische Getränke (ob Corinna das beeindruckt...) - alles da, was benötigt wird und im top Zustand - schöner Pool mit extra Bar, Kühli und WC /Dusche - wunderschön angelegter Garten - Parkplatz vor der Tür - gerne wieder
