Room was nice for one night and the price. If you’re a lite sleeper you def won’t like the main level rooms. Loud people when they check in and loud coming back at 2am. Echos into the Freedom room a lot. Weird smell in the bathroom. I’m not sure if it’s the water smell or issues. Bed was good. Root was good size. Staff that I interacted with were very nice. Would be a very difficult place to check into when it’s dark. No lights come on to show steps leading into the place. And barely noticeable the sign for entrance. Price made it all fine. But wouldn’t want to stay long term in the same room.

Solicitamos uma cama de casal que existia no momento da reserva. Surgiu-nos duas camas pequenas. A entrada cheirava a mofo e o quarto a canos. O pequeno almoço é agradável. O self check in é impessoal e deixou-me inquieto.

The bed is super comfortable, the hot breakfast is delightful, and the room is beautiful. Upon booking, they send an email with details which state check in ends at midnight. I arrived a little after 11PM due to a delayed flight and train. NO ONE WAS THERE! I spent an hour outside making noises and trying to get in! Some person was chatting with me attempting no help except when I reached out to Expedia to cancel. All of a sudden they can answer my messages yet still did not say how to get inside, and NO ONE came to my rescue except a guest who came outside to smoke. The key is like a screwdriver and it must be placed in the door a certain way to work. Never in my life had I seen such a key, and the whoever chatting with me NEVER MENTIONED how to use the thing. The smoker did. The next morning at breakfast, the older lady was coughing and not covering her mouth around the food all the while you could hear the phlegm in her cough. Disgusting. Would I stay again? Yes, as long as I make sure my plane and train arrive on time and I do not purchase breakfast with them.

L'arrivée autonome s'est passée facilement et efficacement. La chambre était propre et l'air climatisé fonctionnait à merveille. L'aménagement extérieur était très agréable et j'ai eu un gros coup de coeur pour la section hamac où nous avons passé beaucoup de temps. Il y avait toutes les comodités disponibles dont un voyageur a besoin. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner très copieux du petit matin et que dire de la vue panoramique sur le toît. Un incontournable du matin. Le gîte est situé à une bonne distance à pied du centre de Lagos et des plages. Pas plus de 20 minutes de marche. Il y a des petits restos et cafés ainsi qu'une grosse épicerie à proximité. Le personnel a été très sympathique avec nous. Je recommande certainement ce lieu et j'ai trouvé que c'était un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Great value for money

Nice basic rooms with a decent breakfast, about 10-15 mins walk into town. Staff are friendly, good for a budget stay in Lagos. My only complaint would be a lack of privacy the curtains are light and see through. So expect sunlight in the morning & our room was to a public balcony, so the occasional person going past could see in. Would stay again as it was pretty good value. Make sure to read the email you get right after booking it has the instructions and pin codes you need to get access.
