Stayed for 3 nights but wished it could have been longer. We were four adults, plenty of room to spread out. Everything was perfect. Very accurate listing. Well stocked kitchen was utilized mainly for breakfast. Restaurants and beach are all within walking distance. Supermarket is a about a 10-minute drive.

Excellent villa, perfect stay!

Lovely villa for three of us, we wanted for nothing!! The villa is just as described & as the photos show. Plenty of space inside & the outside area & pool is perfect on a hot sunny day! It took some effort to draw ourselves away from the villa to do a bit of sightseeing but the thought of the pool drew us back for a late afternoon dip! Would definitely stay here again & would recommend to friends!! Thank you Fergus for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa & being a great host!

Very nice two weeks.

Very happy with our stay. Beds are great, there are three bathrooms, kitchen has everything you need and the outside area and pool are just right.The BBQ works a treat.Sad to be going home!

Excellent Villa

Had a wonderful holiday in this villa. A family of 6 adults in total. Everything we could have needed. Perfect villa for us. Plenty of space. Well equiped. Peaceful location, lovely views, with a short walk to the promanade & restaurants. Owner was particularly helpful prior to the visit, answered all questions promptly & no issues experienced while we were there.

Outstanding Villa

This is such a wonderful villa in one of our favourite places. We spent two weeks here in September. We didn't hire a car because everything in Luz is within a short easy stroll. The bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept in in Portugal. The pool is great and we used it everyday. Booking was simple and communication was good. All in all a perfect stay 10/10, we would definitely come back again.

The property was wonderful! The views from the kitchen and upstairs are great. The pool was very nice and provided the kids with an extra activity. The only downside was that I didn't understand the location very well. It was more removed from the beach and town than I realized. Still walkable, just further than I thought. All in all a great property.

A well equipped villa in good location

The house is spacious, fresh, clean and well equipped, just missed a shower gel. The kids loved the pool. The price is shown in € but be prepared for extra costs when using an eurozone credit card as it is charged in £. Which is annoying and ridiculous as I booked from Portugal with a card issued by a local bank. Otherwise it was great. Erik

Great villa but could easily be made better...

The good: The property was just as described. It was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Outdoor areas were beautiful for breakfast or hanging out at the pool. Beautiful views of the ocean. Nice parking area right across street. Loved the property! The could-be-better: The wifi password in the emailed check-in package was incorrect. There was no physical (or emailed) binder of things to do and see, recommended restaurants, and practical info about the villa. Would have been nice to have a couple of soap pods for the clothes washer. The light switch at the top of the stairway didn't work so had to turn off downstairs and navigate up the stairs in the dark. The AC remote control in 2nd upstairs bedroom didn't work, even after I tried batteries from a working remote, so I couldn't turn on. The owner had previously told me the 2 twin beds in the 2nd upstairs bedroom could not be pushed together and made up as a king, but when we arrived they were already next to each other and the 2 mattresses could actually touch each other, so honestly a different sheet set could have been used. This is a shame since my wife and I couldn't sleep in the middle (on a crack and between two twin top sheets). There were leaves on the bottom of the pool that I would have been happy to scoop out but the only net there was only 5 feet long. These are each minor things, but taken together detracted from the experience.

Everything we expected

After making the initial booking for 2020 and postponed twice (Fergus was very accommodating as we had to change dates this year) the villa was everything we expected, clean, spacious and very relaxing and the pool area is a sun trap all day. The sea view was amazing to look at anytime. Would recommend this villa to anyone who’s looking for a quiet area but not too far away from the bars and restaurants
