"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was okay, it became very repetitive with very little changes between dinner and lunch menus. Breakfast was always the same. I would suggest properly labelling the food items, especially the meats as anyone other than the chef knew what type of meats were being served. I also did not appreciate that the sushi restaurant was only available to persons who stayed for a week and longer. If you stayed for a shorter period, you had to pay. This was not communicated to us at all, only that a reservation needed to be made. I think once I'm paying for an all inclusive resort, all restaurants should be available to us, unless clearly stated beforehand (which it was not). All in all the stay was decent but I would not return. "

"Tuvimos una experiencia excelente en Lagun Blou Resort. Antes de llegar nos comunicamos por WApp porque necesitábamos hacer un late check-in y todo fue muy fácil: respondieron rápidamente y la coordinación fue simple y eficiente. Muy amable la persona encargada. El lugar es fácil de encontrar en auto y tiene un gran parking. El apartamento estaba impecable y muy bien equipado. La cocina tiene absolutamente todo lo necesario para poder cocinar y todo de excelente calidad. El apartamento es muy cómodo, con una galería abajo y una terraza arriba en el dormitorio, ambas con una vista espectacular a la bahía. El hotel tiene una piscina central y, sobre el lado que da al mar, una sucesión de pequeñas terrazas conectadas por senderos y escaleras muy bien diseñadas y decoradas. Esto crea muchos rincones con tumbonas y sombrillas de paja que se sienten bastante privados, todos con vistas increíbles al mar. Desde allí incluso vimos delfines pasando frente al hotel. Hay acceso directo al mar mediante escaleras y un pequeño muelle; además, para quien quiera tirarse desde lo alto, hay una puertita. El entorno natural es bellísimo y muy tranquilo. Desde la galería de nuestro apartamento veíamos muchos pájaros y bastantes iguanas, algo que suma mucho para quienes disfrutan de la naturaleza. Como puntos a tener en cuenta: al estar rodeado de naturaleza, puede llenarse de hormigas si queda algo de comida o incluso un insecto muerto en la habitación. "Yes the ocean was visible from our room. The room was clean. Bathroom shower drain plugged, ants in room. Pool clean. Service is ok. Pricey to stay on this side. I felt service could be better. We received a call to come and pick up our welcome package at the main resort on our last morning?? Need some shade trees around these units."

"We struggled with the decision between the Marriott Beach resort and Coral Luxury Estate. We are glad we chose the latter. However, if you are from the US, you need to prepare yourself for the relative nature of the term luxury. In the US, it might be rated a three star +. Take a few extra towels, trash bags,A make-up mirror, your own shampoo, conditioner & soft toilet paper that is septic safe. They do not have tissues in the room, so remember those as well. Be prepared to to pay for food or beverages in order to use the pool or the beach front chairs. If you have these realistic expectations, addressed ahead of time, I believe you will likely enjoy your stay. The lodging staff is friendly, and the views are wonderful. The restaurant is only ok in our opinion, they are managed separately."

"The only issue was our bedroom faced a main road and the traffic noise was a bit loud in the morning. It was a short walk to the beach, which was beautiful. "

"We had a great stay! The area is beautiful, quiet, and perfect for scuba. The view is excellent, and being able to swim right there was a highlight. The host was responsive, kind, and helpful. AC in the rooms was great for sleeping, and the open air style home was very comfortable.Lagun is great. The beach would be excellent if you like to lay out and relax. There are a few great restaurants nearby, and the convenience store right out front is just that..convenient!One thing to know before booking: there is no hot water. This was not advertised as having hot water, but if you are coming from a colder climate it is something many people will assume exists with a shower. That said, if you shower mid to late afternoon, around 4 pm, the water is often quite warm anyway."
