“I have very mixed feelings about my two-night stay at Altnaharra Hotel. There were some huge positives: the staff were superb, the restaurant food was excellent, and the downstairs ambience was exactly what you hope for in a Highland hotel — open fires, comfy sofas, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The location itself is also incredibly special. I paid around £150 per night room-only via Expedia as a treat while touring the Highlands. First impressions of my single room, “Sika,” were good, but……

“They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices.
