"A very characterful property. Conveniently close to la Roche sur Yon yet located in a peaceful, rural location. We loved the attention to detail made in the renovation of the property including the equisitely engineered ironwork handles and stair rail handmade by the owner. Outside there is a lovely terrace and a rambling kitchen garden to explore alongside a trickly stream. Perfect for a family plus grandparents or 2 families to share. We had a very comfortable stay. "This is a budget hotel that punches above its weight. The staff are welcoming, the rooms basic but clean, the location is not at all beautiful, but in a great location for those travelling on A roads and the restaurant attached to it is better than your average chain, the chef is good at what he does and the beer is rather lovely."

"We booked two apartments for our family and had a very enjoyable stay. The kids especially loved spending time in the pool! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. As many other guests have mentioned, the property could use some updates, but overall, we had a good experience. The apartments were clean when we arrived, and the location was very convenient, just a 12-minute drive from La Rochelle. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!"
