“Das Zimmer entsprach leider nicht den grundlegenden Hygiene- und Sicherheitsstandards. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts gab es Probleme mit Insekten im Schlafzimmer und im Badezimmer. Auch nach einer angekündigten „Double Cleaning“-Reinigung blieb ein totes Insekt sichtbar an der Decke, was den Eindruck erweckte, dass die Reinigung nicht gründlich durchgeführt wurde. Zusätzlich kam es zu einem Wasseraustritt im Schlafzimmer, wodurch der Fliesenboden nass und rutschig war. Dies stellte……

“The room was very clean and as described - the kitchen included all the things you need for a shortish stay, we were able to cook dinner when we wanted to. Site lovely and quiet - out of town but with easy access to a bus route or the beachfront walkway. The beds are very hard - it's put me off ever having a memory foam mattress! Although there are safe's in the room, you have to pay rental for a key to use them (it's the same rule for the air conditioning remotes) which seems a bit much when……

“For me, a perfect sized apartment in a great location a few mins from beach, shops and main strip. Nice complex; quiet, clean and friendly. Sunny balcony with lovely views of dunes and mountains. Helpful and communicative host. All in all a fantastic stay. Thank you. ”

“The staff were excellent. The room was spotless. We had a heavy downpour on or first night which caused a slight issue with our room. The following morning I reported this to reception and she told me she would send up a maintenance man to have a look. Within 15 mins the man arrived and said we will change your room. He left and five mins later reception rang to say they were changing our room.I have to give the staff at reception 10/10 for such a prompt response. caused a slight issue in the……

“We really enjoyed our stay in Betancuria. The house was really clean and thoughtful equipped and beautifully designed. For us as a family it was ideal but as already mentioned the doors of the rooms don’t close properly. For us it was a good homebase to explore the island if you don’t want to stay in the touristy areas. After 6 pm there is not a single tourist left in this beautiful town! Next shopping in Antigua, the restaurants in Betancuria close at 6pm! I loved the house and the entire……

“Clean and simple room.”

“The property was hard to find and I hard to drive around for half an hour to find the entrance. It is next to an industrial park, which is not listed in the description. It was also unbearably hot and not well ventilated. The only source of air was the 1 small window, which let in tons of bugs. I ended up leaving a night early. If you are looking to sleep somewhere cheap and don’t care about the place then this will do, but I would never choose to stay here.”
