The room was clean and spacious. The owners were very polite and helpful. It is an older motel so could use some updating, but all I needed was a place to sleep and this was perfect. Adding a coffee pot and coffee would be an added bonus.

The overall experience wa horrible something never want it relive again. They charged $1.00 for a can soda then expected me to have cash. That was the only thing within miles to buy to drink

its an older motel and they seem to be updating it. I think with time they will have it running smoother. the owners are very nice and will address anything you mention. Tbe rooms are cleaa but need coffee makers and hair deywrs. We will stay again, rhe peice is good on the budget.

Okay for the price

Coffeepot and no coffee. Minimal amenities for showering and washing. Only one nightstand so had to put phone etc on floor. Clerk couldn't find my reservation and had to call someone for help. Room key wouldn't work after half a dozen tries and clerk used her master key which didn't work either so had to be given another room after calling owners again. Otherwise, clerk friendly. It was an okay place just for sleeping overnight but not much more.

I actually ended up not staying at this property. I paid n tried to stay but there wasn't any toilet paper or cleanex in the room. The bed was ok I guess! The TV did not pick up any stations n took for ever just to get it to turn on. I'm very disappointed in Expedia for even showing me this property. English was the gentleman manning the windows second language but he was patient with me not understanding him but the young lady who came over to help was nicer.

As soon as we walked in the room and turned on the lights all these roaches spread it out. The refrigerator and microwave that they say they have with the coffee maker roaches were coming out of it the refrigerator was not working we were afraid to even touch it .

During Hurricane Ida, a livable 3-star.

Hurricane Ida: We’re from New Orleans, and escaped to Lake Charles, hopping from hotel to hotel, as they filled up. Our first one had a 3-star rating but charged an excessive rate. This one was cheaper but not nearly as nice. No refrigerator. Lumpy mattress. Hotel itself is a 2-star facility, but the electricity, AC & TV worked. Staff was a very friendly couple. Liked them personally. With hotels sold out & the friendly staff & AC: 3. Livable. Not pretty but beats the sh** out of NO.

BEWARE OF ROACHES

In my 47 years of life I have NEVER seen a room so terribly awful. I have NEVER seen so many ROACHES in one room EVER!! The little ones too... NOT TREE ROACHES either!! There were actual roaches in the BED! Not to mention the MICROWAVE and even live and dead ROACHES in the REFRIGERATOR!! They then REFUSED to give a refund... Paid almost $100, which for what it was is price gouging at it's finest. Filing reports to whomever will listen because NO ONE should have to go through the trauma of dealing with people who could care less. MORTIFIED that this place is still in business and taking advantage of innocent people. Better business bureau, health department get ready!
