The town of Methven providing numerous activities and dining options, is a convenient 35-minute drive, while Christchurch is only an hour and 20 mins away, offering access to urban amenities.

Upon entering the cottage you'll be welcomed by a tastefully decorated interior radiating warmth and charm. A log burner ensures exceptional warmth during winter, creating a cosy atmosphere for relaxation on the comfortable sofas where you can curl up, read a book or watch a movie.

The central hub comprises the open-plan lounge, well equipped kitchen where you can whip up amazing dinners and the dining area with table cloth, napkins, place settings and candles to complete the experience. Equipped with modern amenities, including a smart TV and free wifi, entertainment options abound, with a DVD player, books, and board games. Two well-appointed bathrooms, including an ensuite for the master bedroom, ensure a perfect private retreat.
Terrace Downs Resort, a short 15-minute drive away, offers a world-class golfing experience, complemented by a restaurant, cafe, and bar open to the public. Lake Coleridge Village, a remote rural town, lacks public transport, but everything is easily accessible by walk or drive.

From the village it is a short walk to the Power Station, Rakaia River, a children's playground and tennis courts. Off roading, hunting and fishing all close by, as well as lots of walking options, including woodland walks in arboretum. The nearest supermarkets are in Darfield or Methven, both a 45-minute drive from the village.
Please note there are no shops in the village, please ensure you bring all supplies needed for your stay.

Please note, the garden is under renovation. The patio is partially complete and usable, and access to the house and driveway is unaffected.
