"This was our first time staying here and we were very impressed with not only the friendly and professional staff also the Loft was amazing, it was clean , beds were very comfortable it didn't feel like a hotel room we actually felt like home away from home. "The house was clean. The docks were in terrible shape. There was spiderwebs and cobwebs everywhere that had been there for quite some time. we were pestered by spiders and wasps. There were mud Dobbers under the tables and the chairs because the nests haven’t been dealt with. You wouldn’t take anything to sweep that off and spray occasionally. The bathroom was leaking water from the toilet tank the whole time I sent messages with no response so we had to deal with water in the floor the whole time in the bathroom"

"Only downside was no stove, but there are outside grills for cooking. Was perfect for our anniversary get away."

"Super family/pet friendly place. Lots of room to play and tons of water activities and games on site. Good location as the river is nice and wide here for paddle boarding and kayaking! "

"Has a wonderful time at this unique getaway. Host was great and very proactive. It is rustic, but overall very comfortable with a kitchenette and small balcony porch. Pro is that it is close to the river, downtown and historic Gruene district. Con is that it is also close to what appears to be an industrial machinery/boat dumping site. Pro is that it is unique and cozy with great indoor climate control. Con is that the upstairs bed sleeps more like a futon than a "real" mattress. That said, we would definitely stay here again - hopefully when it is warm enough to get in the pool that looks lovely!"
