"Area was beautiful. Our mattress, comforter and pillows were all lumpy and uncomfortable. Food and drinks were insanely high. One white russian $22 before the tip. Price gauging ruins any trip yet people must pay it. Check-in at 4 pm is really late. We travel often and it’s never been so late. Overall it was disappointing. "

"Really lovely place in a gorgeous setting. We had a lot of fun browsing records and playing on the arcade table when we were staying in, and loved strolling by the lake. My only critique is that the door connecting the two rooms doesn’t close all the way. We were traveling with our two toddlers and a baby and because the door was useless the baby kept waking the toddlers up. Just beware that the two rooms are basically only separated nominally. "

"Everything about our trip was great! The hosts were very responsive, and when some of the amenities weren't available at our property, we were able to change our reservation to the other (Huckleberry House). The details and decor were international and contributed to the relaxing feel, and you can't beat the gorgeous views! I highly recommend the sauna and cold plunge to cap off the experience. My husband and I would definitely stay on the propery again. "

"Home was clean and comfortable. We were very disappointed the fireplace was not for use. I had selected the cabin based on the fact it had a fireplace listed as one of the amenities. This should be removed from the listing so that others,like myself, don't filter for cabins with fireplace and get this listing. We also brought a movie to watch but had great difficulty with the dvd player. The player is old and didn't have a remote. It took forever to open to put the dvd in and then the movie kept locking up so we gave up. No fire to sit by and no movie to watch was disappointing. We did play board games the first two nights and enjoyed ourselves. It is a great kitchen for a large group. Would recommend you add forks for larger families. We were good as there was only 5 of us but if there was a larger group, silverware would be in short supply. The home was very comfortable space wise and we slept well. We were also in close location to where we wanted to go during the day. Thank you and please adjust your listing so that it doesn't reflect that you have a fireplace."

"Absolutely loved this beautiful cabin and we are SO sad to leave! Everything was comfortable and cozy! Only reason im giving 4 stars is because we had 8 people for our stay (house sleeps 10) and felt the amount of dishes/silverware, toilet paper and paper towels was low for the amount of people we had. In addition the oven was broken, tho the host did provide a table top one that mostly worked, we just had to bake multiple batches to feed such a large family. "
