Perfect for Group Retreat
The location was beautiful - right on the lake, quiet, great view. This house was perfect for our staff retreat. We were able to fit 27 people comfortably into the space with plenty of room to gather. The house was clean, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the number of bathrooms. Plenty of tableware for our large group was awesome! The game rooms were a plus. We were close to lake activities, cafes and some restaurants and not too far from the grocery store. We appreciated the extra parking off site since the property could only accommodate six cars on site. The owners responded to all of our questions and provided us with suggestions upon request. An overall excellent experience!

Perfect place to bond with family
My family and I came here to celebrate the memory of our grandmother and this lake house was perfect for us. We were able enjoy the beautiful view of the lake as well as boating, fishing, and swimming in the lake without any issues. The house was so spacious and comfortable for accommodating 38 people. The location was great to be able to do some hiking and enjoying the water park. I really had a great time bonding with my family and we are looking forward to renting at this location again. The LaBonge family were great host and I am so thankful for their help.

Extended family gathering
Eagles Nest was beautiful and comfortable. And so very spacious. We had plenty of space to stretch out. The children loved the arcade game and the ability to be inside without feeling too cramped. It was wonderful to have private and semi-private baths for each bedroom. The host was very attentive to communication. If you plan to cook in the home, just make a note to yourself that there are no spices or disposable goods like plastic wrap/tinfoil, etc. in the house. You’ll need to bring those with you. Also, please note the small print online that says sheets and towels are not provided. I missed that detail and that made it challenging for our out-of-state travelers. I would highly recommend this home.

Great Home for Large Group Family Gatherings
We had three large families spend a weekend in December celebrating the holidays. We could not have been happier with the experience. There were 25 adults and we had more than enough room. We could have added more people. We never felt crowded. The house was very clean and set up in a way that allows everyone their own space, but there are also spaces for group gatherings. Make sure to arrange for the linen service ahead of time, which we did. They were very accomodating.

Family Christmas 30 people. We had a great time. Very clean, enough bedrooms for everyone and plenty of things to do for all. Definitely worth the stay!!!

Perfect Labor Day weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay by the lake. Everyone had something to do. Table tennis, billiards, a game of pool. Sunsets by the lake were beautiful. We didn’t get our full. We miss the house.

Large family vacation
This was our second year staying here with 20 adults and 3 children. The duplex was clean and comfortable with beautiful lake views. Tons of space for all to sleep and hang out comfortably with lots of games (pool, ping pong, shuffleboard) to play and lafefront dock for swimming and kayaking. We enjoyed the fire ring at night (bring your own wood). We have already reserved for next year. The parking area is steep and there are lots of steps to the grassy lake area but so far this hasn't been a problem for us (if you have people with mobility issues, it could be difficult). We loved our family vacation at the lodge and can't wait to go back!

The house was very spacious and had so many bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect for our large group. We did find a handful of broken chairs, hinges, and doorknobs like other commenters have mentioned.

Great property & great stay
Stayed at the house with a group of friends for a golfing trip over a weekend. The property was fantastic, well cleaned and had plenty of room to house us. Would recommend for any large group.

Fantastic house with Breathtaking views
This house is perfect for a big gathering! We absolutely loved the location and the house. The basements are fantastic for socializing and the kitchens allow for big family dinners. Parking is tricky if you have more than 9 cars, so that was our only real difficulty. I would absolutely recommend this property! Fabulous experience!

Review of our stay

Golf trip with the ladies
Had a great time, the house(s) were beautiful with fantastic views of the lake. Had a fun time around the fire pit but the best was looking down From the balcony at 8 deer just laying in the yard or milling around eating grass. Highly recommend staying there.

Overall, a great place to stay. But, when we had any house issues with faucets, water leaking into exercise room, etc, we called on Monday, they said the maintenance person would be there Tue, then Wed, then Thu, and they never showed up or called even by Saturday. The maintenance and communication need to improve.,

Great Family Vacation.
Excellent, clean, spacious house. Plenty of room for our 23 family members ages 20 months to 86. We had fun swimming/floating in the lake, fishing from the dock, kayaking/canoeing, making s’mores around the fire ring, and playing pool, ping pong & shuffleboard. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, enough dinnerware for our large group, and lots of seating. There are steps down to enter the house and many steps to the lake/dock area which was not a problem for us, but good to know if you have people with mobility issues. The lake view from the house and decks is beautiful with amazing sunsets. Planning on renting again next year.

Called about some faults which they said they are aware like broken kitchen faucet handle, ice maker problem, one door that you cannot close, filter alarm on items. later on we had a dish washer that leaked and oven that did not work well. we had cob webs hanging from the ceiling lights so we did some extra cleaning while there. Also when I went to put bedding on the bed the mattress pad had stains which i did not like.

50th birthday
The house was amazing. The amount of space for the couples we had was great. We spent time in the lower level playing games, listening to music and enjoying the moments together. Thank you for a great visit. The house is right on the water and the view was awesome. We enjoyed a firepit day by the water as well. The only thing I would say that would have made it better is having linens provided with the house, but it's not a deal breaker because everything else was so wonderful. Thank you for renting us your home we will definitely do it again. My husband's 50th was a great time. ❤

Nice place to cozy up!
We went with a group of couples and rented both sides of the house. It is a beautiful home that was well furnished and perfect for a reunion with friends. Great lay-out, good beds, loved the yoga/work out room, game rooms, and family rooms with large dining room tables. There was a challenge with the driveway as it slopes down toward the house and it was pretty icy - poorly cleaned up by whomever does the plowing there - if it had been plowed... We could not get some cars up and down the driveway and had to ask the neighbors to move their cars so we could exit through their part of the shared circular driveway which was better cleared. Of course we expected snow in the Poconos but not the challenge of unloading cars and trying to drive in and out on a steep icy drive . Once we were able to move cars to safe ground, we were fine and enjoyed a cozy weekend in a beautiful spot right on the lake.

Great business retreat location
We've rented this property for the past few years and like all that it has to offer for our group. It could use a few updates to the kitchen appliances (a Keurig would be nice) and refreshes to the decor. Also, the dishwasher on the right side would not work for us. All in all, a great place; just wish it would receive a little TLC.

Great Family Get Together
The property was absolutely beautiful, with cool May air coming off the lake. The house was stunning and had plenty of space for everyone. It was easy to find and access, even with parking constraints. No complaints whatsoever. It was perfect. 25 guests had a fantastic time!

Spacious and relaxing retreat
From the booking process to the check out process was amazing. We decided to do our family Christmas here with everyone from grandparents to 3 babies under 2. Plenty of space to stretch out and also to be together in common areas. Rich was super attentive and helpful. The views are amazing can’t wait to visit again .

Staff Retreat
We had an AMAZING time at this property for our Staff Retreat of 22 people. The property was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. We rented both sides and this provided tons of space for everyone to have privacy and quiet when needed but also allowed for us to gather well for meals, games, etc. The owner was amazing in providing answers to my many questions and was extremely accommodating. There is so much to do here and we brought our own Kayaks which worked out perfectly. We also utilized the linen service which was totally worth it-they provided a seamless process. We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our staff and their families to have a place to get away, rest, have fun, and spend time with one another. I highly recommend this property!

Great Executive Retreat Location
This property worked very well for our professional firm's executive retreat. Everyone had their own bath, which is really nice. Lots of room! Planning to try to book it again next year, but earlier in the year to take advantage of the great location on the lake!

Lake Harmony Family Time
Beautiful spot, lovely spacious house! Fire pit, docks, large exquisite dining table and kitchen space etc made it a great place for a family to be able to have personal sleeping space and also be together. We loved the home! A strict weekend rental Sunday 10 am check out off season with the expectation to have the dishwasher unloaded as well actually would keep us from renting it again unfortunately.

Perfect lakefront property for a family reunion
This beautiful home and property was perfect for our family reunion! The home was clean and very well maintained, and had plenty of room for all 30 members of our family (we rented both sides of the duplex home). Driveway was unexpectedly steep but manageable. Linens and towels are not provided, which we didn't realize until after we booked the property, but the linen service company that was recommended worked out just fine. Every member of our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially hanging out on the huge deck overlooking the lake, and sitting by the fire at night right next to the water (and toasting marshmallows of course!). Couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our family!

Enormous property. We had a group of 12 couples for a kidless weekend. Plenty of room, multiple kitchens and entertainment spaces. We spent most of the time of the decks & sitting by the lake. Highly reccomend.
