The creek at the bottom of the property is so relaxing. The reservoir just up the road is a great place to kayak, fish, or eat a picnic lunch at. The whole cabin is cozy, safe, and enjoyable. "Very clean, plenty of natural light. Quiet location, nice size yard with sitting area and another open space by the water. The old road/boat ramp at the bottom of the hill provided a few places to fish from the bank and a great place for a quit walk/run. We were in town for a fishing tournament so plenty of room for 2 trucks and a great place at the bottom of the hill for the boat with a plug in for batteries. 2 minutes from Laurel Park boat ramp. 37 minutes from Helen, 20 minutes to town. "We are constantly on the go with crazy schedules, this vacations spot is exactly what we needed. Kids love the fishing and hike up and down to the dock tired them out. Nearby we found ice skating, hiked stone mountain and Margaritaville had a snow tubing adventure the kids loved. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to come back."

"Perfect location tucked up a private raod surrounded by trees and great home base for exploring northern Georgia and less that an hour from Atlanta sites. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, yet gave us space. Would recommend for singles, couples or small families. and never intrusive. "
