This was one of the nicest VRBO rental homes my wife and I have ever stayed in. Super clean, has everything you need, great location and the views of Lake Lure and the mountains are spectacular. Very serene and private. Coffee on the top deck in the morning was very relaxing. Communication from the company that manages the property was very professional. Highly recommend this house for families, couples and we will definitely look to rent this home again.

We had a good time staying at Eagle Crest with our family. The property managers were very helpful when the air conditioning wasn’t working downstairs and they sent an air conditioning specialist out to fix it the next morning. The home was very spacious for our family of 9 and we enjoyed the amenities at Rumbling Bald Resort. The upper deck does need attention - it has some rotten boards.

A preface this by saying this house is beautiful, the view is to die for, the kitchen is great. The whole space is nice, there’s a pool table, awesome hot tub, and most importantly the beds were so comfortable. It’s a quick ride to the amenities. Highly recommend the Lake Lure tour! The negatives: the fan upstairs didn’t work, the air conditioning downstairs would not cool past 74, the outlets in the big bathroom downstairs kept going out anytime anyone use the bathtub. Baseboards were dirty, there were dead bugs in the light fixtures. I would recommend staying here, but I would ask the management company if these things have been fixed first. And I do want to add that they were very prompt in replying to our messages and very friendly. Even though we called them for several things, they were polite, friendly, and professional.
