Great Vacation at Lake Lure & Rumbling bald area
We had an awesome family vacation with our two sons and their girlfriends. The spacious home gave everyone a bed and bathrooms. The house had EVERYTHING we needed with open kitchen and living space. The screened in porch was great with rockers for reading and relaxing. If you desired to put up the screen you could to have open air. We enjoyed them down to watch it rain and keep out any bugs. So so relaxing. Hot tub divine and the gas grill was great. There were 6 of us but was room for easily 6 more. Maybe as our family grows bc we would definitely stay here again. Can’t rave enough about Joe who was nearby if we needed anything. Was nice to know if we had questions and he graciously checked on us. Our first VRBO experience was great !! Great property !! Peaceful, relaxing and a tom turkey with two hens came into woods behind house. Beautiful flowers, trees, shrubs. Divine “relaxation”. None of us wanted to leave. Absolute Gem- the pictures don't do it justice
The property is absolutely a gem! The whole experience couldn't have been nicer or easier for us to work with them. The house is loaded with lots of really nice touches from screen in porch with retractable screens to downstairs kitchen to old school video game machine and hot tub. Little touches like an abundance of silverware, plates, cooking utensils made it very livable. Would highly recommend the property. Joe was over the top helpful and even the neighbor we met was very nice. Overall great experience. Couldn't recommend a property more.

House was amazing! Only downside was the hot tub. Water was extremely foamy. Afraid to get in it. Could see dirt in the foam. Everything else was perfect! Enjoyed our stay!!

Wonderful girls weekend
Our yearly girls trip was perfect at this lovely home. There were ten of us and we had plenty of room. The beds and pillows were a 10/10! The kitchen was fully stocked and a dream. There was a living area with TV on both levels. The basement level has a a small kitchen. On this level there is a large bedroom with three beds and an office space. Most importantly the house was Spotless!!! We would definitely stay at this property again if we’re in the area.

Immaculate Home
Our family and friends loved this home so much. It was a perfect fit for us. The teenagers loved the basement! There was plenty of seating up and downstairs. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was super clean. And we used the Rumbling Bald Resort passes often. Joe was a great host and great communication. We look forward to returning!

Family Holiday Gathering
This Rumbling Bald Resort home was everything we were promised and more. There was plenty of space for three families. The host was proactive and provided all the info we needed in advance of our stay. We cooked all our meals in the roomy kitchen or on the gas grill and took advantage of the fire pit and hot tub. We also spent a great deal of time on the large balcony watching deer, turkeys, squirrels, etc. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect for our family Christmas
This place far exceeded my expectations! it was so clean and beautiful. There were 16 of us celebrating our family Christmas (all adults). It was more than big enough for all of us. We ranged in ages from 18 to almost 80. We all loved it. Plenty of space so that we could have multiple groups doing different activities. The basement was perfect for the young adults to hang out away from the old people. My mom has some issues going up and down stairs, but she was fine getting in and then her room was on the main level. It really was perfect. This will be our annual place to meet up. I can't wait to stay again! The owner was great and very responsive, especially since I had tons of questions. I can't even think of something that I would change, it was that good!

Great Girls Weekend Away
We had a great stay. The house had plenty of room and was fully stocked. Plenty of towels and comfy beds. It was a wonderful get away for our group of 12 Women. We loved having the hot tub and fire pit as well. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic!
Wow what a beautiful house! We could not have been more pleased with our time at Lake Lure and especially the perks with the home and what a bonus to have access to Rumbling Bald Mountain facilities! The host Mr. Speed was extremely accommodating and easy to contact with any questions we had before and during our trip! We are already planning our next visit and will definitely reserve with Mr. Speed again.
