“Our family of 5 (kids 10 months to 10 y.o.) had a great time! Added pontoon for added/improved swimming options and quiet lake tours to end our nights. Used provided fishing gear and the kids caught some nice sunnies, smallmouth and northern! Home was large and inviting. Plenty of space. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Plenty of extras so that I didn’t need to pack my entire kitchen. Lots of outside toys/floaties/bikes/kayak to keep us busy. Had fun on rainy day playing music via Bluetooth……

“We had a truly wonderful stay at this cabin. The space was peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for creating memories with family. One of the highlights of our trip was hiking up to the Sandy Lake Fire Tower, which offered an unforgettable view of the surrounding nature.As an East African family, this type of retreat isn’t something we grew up with, but staying here allowed us to create new traditions together. “The log lake house is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We watched the sunrise over the lake, kayaked, bird watched, grilled, and played yard games. Also, it was lovely to star gaze from the comfort of the cozy living room out of the floor-to-ceiling windows. A magical place! We had a fantastic time. ”

“Clean, organized, comfortable and very well thought out. Opened up the door and noticed how clean it looked and smelled, even in the garage. From the comfort of the queen beds, convenience of the two bathrooms, the thoughtfulness of having electrical box down by the dock to charge the batteries, this place exceeded all my expectations. The kitchen was well stocked with two different coffee maker options, toaster, air fryer, gas grill and good cookware. The TV and wifi was a nice option after……

“The house was amazing, clean, was able to do laundry, big rooms and bathrooms to accommodate, everything was amazing. Cannot recommend this property enough to those who need a place to stay for a long weekend. ”

“It is an old cabin/house that is a bit run down. Our biggest issue was the super intense musty smell. We were also disappointed with the quality of the bedding and towels (which only 2 were left for our group of 4). It's a really steep price tag for a property like this and I would never use the word serene to describe it. The owners were easy to work with, but we were glad we only had to be there to sleep. The fridge was also dirty and the owners left some of their stuff in there which added to……
