Unusually hot for October and had an issue with AC, texted Jon and right away he let me know how to work the remote. The 3 tiered landscape with fire pit and grill area was awesome not to mention recreated stonehenge bar. Thanks, Jon」

「My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. We took to the hike to the lake and explored the beach before coming back to the cabin. Warming up soup for dinner that we brought and reading some books that were n the cabin. The weather was perfect and the fireplace made it nice in the evening and throughout the night. We visited May 29-30, we saw deer turkey and as we left a black bear was on...

「I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!」

「This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!」

「This cabin was plenty big for our family of 6 and cozy at the same time. It was nicely decorated and felt like home. Our 2 smaller dogs enjoy the space as well as a nice walk around the lake. Our kids enjoyed watching movies with the fireplace going and overlooking the beautiful lake from the large windows. We would definitely stay here again!」

「An amazing roomy clean and well stocked rental for a large group. There was 18 ppl (5 families) and never once did we feel crowded. Beautiful home, yard, beach. 「We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. 「We absolutely loved our stay at Shangri-La! Even though you're right in town it feels very private. The hosts have put a lot of thought into making your stay a great experience. Plenty of games to keep you entertained and you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hot tub was very clean and works great. I definitely recommend you will not be disappointed.
