The host was very welcoming: responsive and helpful. The house was cozy- we loved the fireplace. In addition, the location was great… it felt like an escape in the woods, but it was only five minutes to town!

Host was welcoming, house was nice and plenty of space for everyone. Just far enough away from lake placid to relax, but not too far to make it tedious. Kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need as well. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy lake placid

This property was absolutely charming . From the beautiful setting to the closeness of Lake Placid and Mirror Lake and all they have to offer, this home is a treasure. Everything was very nice. Clean and welcoming. The ability to do laundry was greatly appreciated after climbing peaks. The only issue was an inability to open the wifi.
