Rustic Elegance

Our multi-generational family stay at Sunnybrook Cottage was a huge success despite this being the coldest winter in Lake Placid since 1994! While there is excellent wi-fi, this cottage invites everyone to disconnect from the modern world and revel in the pleasures of board/card games, outdoor activities, and cozying up with hot-chocolate and s'mores in front of the fantastic fireplace.The cottage is a wonderful glimpse of another era when rustic log cabins were turned into upscale "camps" for New York society. The living space, bedrooms, and baths are exactly as pictured and very comfortable. The kitchen is compact, but effortlessly accommodated several cooks working together to turn out great meals. The only caveat to note is that only enough firewood for the first evening's fire is provided with the rental, (a reasonable arrangement) but the nearby Stewart's convenience store sells large bundles of wood at a fair price.

Adirondack beauty

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a warm cozy winter cabin in the Adirondacks look no further. Enchanting space taken right out of a movie set. Absolutely beautiful. As a guest you want for nothing. Every detail thought out. Recommend this rental to anyone who wants a winter paradise getaway!

Amazing in Every Way!

This place doesn't dissapoint!Although it is located near other homes, it feels very private and isolated. The interior and exterior both have an amazing woodsy vibe and the entire place feels like someone cares about it rather than the sterile unloved energy I've come to expect from most vacation rentals.The check in/out process was seamless and the host couldn't have been more accommodating.Do yourself a favor and rent this place. You won't be sorry!
