10/10 Excellent
"Great spot on the main street"
Bellbird Bach on Lake Road
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic property in just the best location. Everything you could want in the bach. Very effective heating. Lots of parking. Comfortable beds. Comfortable couches. Netflix only which was no bother to us."

"A gorgeous cabin with equally wonderful hosts. David and Tammy were incredibly generous and accommodating, I can’t recommend a stay here highly enough!"
Mataki Motels

Lake Station House-Cosy Farm House nestled into Lake Station
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, comfortable stay - very dark skies."
Off The Beaten Trail Accommodation & Bike Tours
8/10 Good
"Access to your account with the booking company is needed to read messages sent by the host. I didn't find this useful. The kia studio is quiet, comfortable, quality and clean. Cooking (apart from toaster & microwave) was at the outdoor (covered) barbecue. A cleaning cloth for the stainless surfaces would be welcome."
Triple Tui - Log cabin, self contained, river side
8/10 Good
"Online listing does not explain clearly the ‘off grid’ nature of the property (limited power & hot water) and does not include details about the 300m walk (incl a skinny sway bridge crossing) to get from where you park your car to the property, nor was this communicated to us as part of the special instructions you normally receive days before your arrival. No contact was made until a few hours prior and no information was provided at that time, only on arrival were we told that we needed a 4WD to get to the cottage, so our luggage was transported by the host while we walked. Had we known and been prepared (incl packing differently), we would have enjoyed it, rather than being surprised and frustrated. The cottage itself was lovely and once we settled in, it was enjoyable, just not what we were expecting."
4 Bedroom House - 1 Night
8/10 Good
"Very eclectic. With the little replica village nearby and the host was very friendly"
Murchison Lodge
