"The room was is bad need of updating. Lots of chipped paint, holes in carpet, rusty vents, etc. Staff was super helpful and friendly."

"Great property awesome location. Shared kitchen, bathrooms etc but that was fine. These facilities were clean. Beds good. Perhaps could do with extra power points. Had to buy extension cord fir Cpap machine but that's ok. Felt safe wandering around at 2am in the morning, starwatching. Nice & warm"

"An early morning lake view changes the entire feel of a stay. The scenery from our room was absolutely incredible. Plus, the staff here are young, energetic, and genuinely friendly. We didn't get a chance to eat the included breakfast, though. We had to rush straight out the door for our activity at Mt. Cook."

The parking can be a challenge after rain as the large pools of water covers the area. The instructions to the suite wasn't clear. We struggled to find the suite in the dark as the street lights were off"
