Motel One Lake Zurich hotels

The hotel is beautifully designed with superb view to the Lake Zurich. Perfect setting for our romantic stay. The reasons I didn’t give it a full mark were because of the following: 1. The service is not yet perfect. Room make up was not 100% such as the kitchenette was still messy, and didn’t put back the used iron and hairdryer back to normal position after room makeup. 2. The pool in the spa was not a warm / hot type pool that no one would like to stay there.

The hotel was 100% occupied when we were waiting for check-in. Jil was able to quickly check us in and made some recommendations for us. Unfortunately our Superior Room was missing robes, slippers and a coffee machine but the staff brought these to our room. Conveniently located near Zurich Airport, clean and efficient. The food at Filini Restaurant was very tasty. Only complaint is that the pillows could be fluffier or have more support.

Awesome staff, specially Hannah the front office lady kindly arranged the birthday cake for me, it was really a nice surprise, as I was in a foreign country, a few thousands miles away.

The room has no air conditioner. Thus, it was really hot in the last week. Also, it seems unlikely to have two separate beds. Besides these two little drawbacks, the experience was great. The staff was very helpful and kind. The surrounding area and the view are fabulous.

the hotel is really close to the airport and 8 mins by the bus from the airport. easy to go to city centre by train as the the station is near by. supermarket is around 3 mins walk. great hotel for visitors who want to stay away from the noise of the city centre.
