「This was our first trip to Shasta, and was so happy we found Shasta Lakeshore Retreat on Instagram! The house was big enough for our 12 adult guests. The dining table was perfect and we were all able to sit and eat together. The back patio sold us on renting this house, we spent every night there until it was quiet time. 「Great house, great location! We stayed for 3 nights with our church youth group and truly enjoyed our time here. The 3-story layout worked perfectly for us and made it easy to separate girls and guys on different floors. A couple of amenities didn’t work (such as the ice machine), but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We would gladly stay here again 」

「This is a really lovely small house toward the end of the historical Densmuir. The house has everything you could possibly need -- airconditioning, fireplace, DVD/VCR player etc. Everything for morning coffee. Comfortable bedding, well stocked bathroom. There is a fenced off section in the back for dogs or humans... It was a real pleasure. Thank you so much to our hosts!」

「Well appointed, older home in north Redding near Shasta Lake. Good sized house, very clean, with comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipt. Landload easily accessable and helpful. Quiet neighborhood, on a side street with no traffic. Close to grocery store and near downtown and the mall. No issues, easy stay for us. Would book this house again.」

Overall I recommend the home to tourists looking for a place to stay in Redding. We planned activities during the day and this place was close enough to every place we went to. 」
