8/10 Good

"Price and location of hotel was fine for a one night stay on our way further north. Some elements of our room looked beat up (bathroom doorframe). Clearly hasn't been updated recently. On the plus side, it was great to have a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The double (2 beds) room was quite spacious. Best part was that the wonderful Duluth Grill was just across the parking lot for a scrumptious breakfast at a table outdoors on a beautiful spring day. Also the very good Balinese restaurant was just a short drive away. I would stay again for one night."

"the valve in the bathroom sink was terrible. It required great strength to open the valve and fine adjustments were impossible. it required so much strength that it went from off to full-on and the full-on condition sprayed water beyond the sink bowl. I reported the condition to a staff member and they said they are all that way. It seems like the problem is widely known and yet still remains. It indicates two problems 1. The bathroom experience is substandard - greatly substandard - poor 2. The problem can be fixed. People are aware but there's an obstacle. Find the obstacle and eliminate it. Then repair or replace the faulty hardware."

"We like the location and your rooms, but there are some continued issues to bring to your attention. On all 3 stays, we've had problems with the tv remote. On all 3 visits...it's been the volume control...it doesn't work. It just stays locked into one level and the volume cannot be turned up or down. It's usually too loud to keep on. This time, we called the front desk and they brought us a new remote, but that remote wasn't any better. Same issue...couldn't turn the volume down or up. This issue really needs to be addressed and fixed as you can't enjoy the tv late at night when the volume is stuck on level 14. Our relatives also stayed with us last time we were there and they couldn't even change their channel with their remote. The issue with the remotes has to be addressed or, unfortunately, we will be unlikely to return as a tv with working volume/channel control is a basic essential. Also, in the 3 times we've stayed there...2 times the body wash in the shower has been empty, including on this stay. Please be sure the housekeeping team is checking those. On our stay June 5th/6th, the water pressure was very low on Saturday morning, June 6th. It was so low and by the end of our 2nd shower, we had a hard time getting enough water in the shower to properly rinse off. On a good note, we like the kitchenettes, the spacious rooms and the cleanliness of the rooms."

"The price of the hotel was ridiculous. Over 300$. I was expecting a really nice place. Don't get me wrong. It was clean and modern. We had two rooms and both had pieces of the bathroom that were falling off. And had to fix a toilet and one of the toilet seats was really loose and pinched skin. The beds were very comfy! The breakfast was the bomb....So so good. The staff was amazing and very accommodating and super friendly. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the price. Way way to over priced. No views.and not even on the water. Not worth 300."
