“Great location ”

“Kathryn & John are very focused on making their guests comfortable. The unit is extra clean, well appointed with furnishings, and exactly as portrayed in the listing. The setting is extra rural. A very quiet place. You can see the stars at night, hear the birds all day, and watch a porcupine climb up a tree out your window. Antigonish is a small town, a 10-minute drive away. But we found everything we needed. The unit is strategically located about 40 minutes from the causeway to Cape Breton……

“We LOVED our stay here. We arrived to a warm welcome with wine, chocolates and a welcome sign! Our host was so nice, and communications with her were seamless. The house was really comfy with everything we needed - great bed included and a well-appointed kitchen! The salt water pool, with views over the ocean, was really special. There are solar lights outside that just make the place magical at night, and beautiful lights from Bali on the inside. There's plenty to do in the area too, from……

“Lovely stay with lots of room for all of us. We celebrated Christmas with family here and it was the perfect spot. Well-appointed for dining if all types. Lots of storage in the kitchen. Worth noting that hot tub is seasonal, which was a surprise and a bit of a disappointment to our party.”

“A beautiful place to stay. Everything was very neat and tidy. It is just a little remote so stop at a grocery store about 30 minutes away. You will not want to leave just to eat. There is a mini-kitchen and bonus a BBQ. Loved the rocking chairs on the porch. The only negative really is that the bed springs are really noisy and the mattress is not all that comfy. A great place to sit back and relax,”

“We absolutely loved our family three night stay at the farmhouse. The screened in porch was incredible especially with the rain and thunderstorm. The thoughtful touches through the entire house is so wonderful and really makes you feel at home. They really seemed to have thought of everything and were so lovely to check on us and were super easy to communicate with. The kids all asked to stay again next year and longer! “Home wad built in 1947 and is dated, original kitchen and and home had a musty smell. No throw pillows or blankets for sofas, no wine or beer glasses, no coffee table erc. Electrial not up to date, had to turn everything of when not home because it was considered a fire hazard. For the price expected more from VRVO.”
