“Peter and Sheila were wonderful hosts. They gave us ideas of where to eat and places to see. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable with them providing information about the area. If we return to the Northumberland area we will definitely return there to stay again.”

“My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Marshall Meadows Manor House. We stayed one night, but ate dinner and the included breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. “This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again ”

“Overall a very good value place to stay, and as long as you know the place’s limits in advance you can plan round them. A bit on the basic side (no desk in the room, no towels, no dedicated wifi (something cloudy that didn’t work on 4th floor, so I tethered iPad to phone). toilet and shower a bit “military grade” but the price point was exceptional. Most of the staff were really friendly. Oh yeah there was a bit of a smell in the 4th floor corridor, but this was only in the corridor not in……

“The room was very big and spacious. It was very clean and came with en suite too. There was a back door to the car parking area, which was a nice touch to load/unload your cases. The bar was nice with seating areas for food in the evening, just like a restaurant. The food was exceptional in the evening and at breakfast. The service was too. Staff were very friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.”
