“Fantastic house for our family long weekend get together. 10 of us and a dog. The house was spacious and extremely well equipped for cooking up big meals. “This is an amazing property overlooking the sea. It is very modern, light and airy and has an incredibly calm vibe. The deck is perfect for enjoying the beautiful views of the sea and is incredibly private due to the positioning of trees to the left and right and below the property. “We stay at the Sea Captain's Town House in August 2024. The house is really nice, very well equipped and very spacious. We all loved the house and the views over the bay are amazing. Parking can be difficult if you have more than one car but we just put one of ours in the public carpark for the week (£21) so wasn't much of an issue. "The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
