「Excellent」

「Great and beautiful place, in a quait village outside catba town. Better to take the bungalows around the pool !!. They are perfect. The staff is nice and helpful with all you need. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. Restaurant is good . highly reccomend this place.」

「We had to find a different hotel as the room was dirty. Avoid!」

「Cat Ba View Hotel may not be the most modern or luxurious hotel, and it doesn't offer amenities like a pool or gym, but what it lacks in facilities, it more than makes up for in hospitality. This is a small, family-run hotel, and Nam, the owner, along with his family, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their genuine kindness, warmth, and exceptional hospitality made our stay memorable. It's the kind of personal attention and care that you rarely find at larger hotels. If...

「The hotel aims to be a diverse resort, but the actual management appears chaotic and inefficient. Staff lack proper training in service, hygiene, and English proficiency, and the maintenance of hotel facilities is poor. Overall, the hygiene standards of the rooms and restaurant do not reach five-star levels, and the quality does not match the price. Unfortunately, this is currently the only upscale hotel on the island.」

「Cat ba Serena homestay was an amazing experience. Our family of five felt so comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Linda was very responsive and instrumental in organizing a full day boat tour which did not disappoint ( we even saw the endangered langur monkeys sleeping on the cliff). Our second day we rented motorbikes from The homestay and explored the island including caves within the national park. Our kids especially enjoyed the food at the homestay- amazing...

「Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Special mention to the Reception Team and the Spa therapists. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choice. Position was amazing literally overlooking the beach with just a short walk, and in a quiet area but with easy access into all areas of the city by very affordable taxis. So so very happy with my stay at the Paddington.」

「Hotel was clean and staff, like most Vietnamese were lovely, very friendly and very helpful. Hard to get any information from hotel due to a little bit of communication breakdown on the day we tried, but there are plenty of tour shops around the area. A lot of construction across the road, but it will be amazing when finished.」

「Staff and facilities are excellent. Trang organised all our trips and transfers faultlessly.」

「Lovely staff, amazing view, large rooms, scooters for hire, close to port.」

「Roza Palace was a wonderful stay on Cat Ba Island. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even scheduling pick ups for transportation and restaurant reservations. Location in Cat Ba is also great. Highly recommend a stay here.」
