Doc's Cottage is a neat and tidy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Holiday Home. It is located across the road from the beach, Harold Park, play ground and has magnificent ocean views. Wanting a seaside holiday without the hefty price tag, then this property is for you.

This quaint cottage is steeped in history and was relocated from Cottesloe to Lancelin and is over 100 years old. Features of this property include, wall air conditioning in main bedroom, ensuite to master bedroom with bath, dishwasher, fireplace and ocean views. Sit on the front porch and watch the sunset. This property is within walking distance to both the Lancelin Tavern and the Lancelin Beach Hotel.

This property has Wifi.
Pet Friendly-OUTSIDE ONLY- Fully fenced - ($250 Pet Bond Applicable).
Wood not supplied for fireplace. BYO.

No school leavers will be accepted at this property. No under 25 adult groups unless approved by owner.

Lancelin is attractively nestled between a large, safe bay with 2 large islands and extensive sand dunes, the town is a worldwide recognised venue for Windsurfing and Rock Lobster fishing.

The bay of Lancelin is by far it's best feature. The calm waters of this bay are beautiful and water activities dominate the town's leisure activities.

A very popular town for people who live in Perth as a short coastal break.

This property is overdue for some maintenance. The ensuite tap was leaking and towel rail was broken off. Switch to fan in 3rd bedroom broken. A big sunken hole in the pavement that leads to the front door. We had a big water leak under the house that we reported straight away and nothing was done about it. The property was clean and in a great location, but it is an old house that is in desperate need of repair. Its tired, very tired and the gardens have not seen a gardener in a very long time. To say that it doesn't resemble the online photo's is an absolute understatement.

Great location but needs some TLC

Great location! This place has so much potential with more upkeep (i.e lawn instead of sand in backyard). To be honest it’s all a bit run down. Aldo the front bedroom is also the only one with aircon so the others get quite warm.

Family Getaway in Lancelin

We had a fantastic relaxing time at Doc's Cottage. We picked out this place as we felt it was a little quirky and it was. Sitting on the veranda while the sun was setting is something we will not forget in a hurry. If you are looking for an old building with creaking floorboards and doors that don't close properly, then this is for you. It is in a brilliant location. Across the road from the beach, 5 minutes to the right is the hotel, 5 minutes to the left is the tavern and 5 minutes from there are the shops including a bakery. However, there are some drawbacks. The toilet in the en suite doesn't work properly and the you will need superhuman strength to stop the cols tap from dripping. But the worst of all was the yukka trees, I think, at the front. Both myself and my daughter were stabbed by the leaves. Mine bled for a while and left a lump on my temple. So overall a great experience but some drawbacks.

The property is in the best location but more run down since the photos taken. The yard and around the shed need a clean up. Fence panels missing at the moment so check if taking your dog. Basic bathrooms and kitchen but all functional. A couple of repairs needed in the ensuite. One of the single beds isn't really suitable if you are sleeping 6. Bugs can get in through the gaps so be prepared for the midgies. Can't be helped in an old house. Still very relaxing and truly is the best location. Needing coffee? Go to the offshore cafe.

are not into having public gripes. Doc's Cottage is a lovely, comfortable old house in a prime location, especially for an off season break. It is in need of the services of a skilled handyman to fix the lock on the back door, fix the toilet off the front bedroom, nail the pieces of flapping tin above the main bedroom, and preferably, remove the doors from the electrical goods cabinet. They may make the place look tidier but they are in convenient and downright dangerous when more than one person is in the kitchen. For whatever reason,it is not being maintained to level it deserves, which is a pity. the kitchen look a little tidier but they are inconvenient and downright dangerous if more than one person is in the kitchen, We loved the cottage and would be happy to return to it. It seems such a pity that, for whatever reason, it is not being maintained to the high standard it deserves.
