“I sincerely enjoyed my stay at Hotel Maddaloni. Everyone on staff was friendly, helpful, and always accommodating. The room and surrounding grounds were immaculate. In fact, I took advantage of my room’s large balcony and inspiring views by sitting outside and writing. While being close to an expressway (perfect for those with a car), the hotel is especially quiet. There’s a market within walking distance and the train/bus station is just a 15-minute drive away. “Only 15 minute walk (with bags) from the Pompei archeological site. Great (and inexpensive) pizza place a couple of hundred metres down the road (recommended by Antonio), and a couple of hundred metres from two supermarkets.
Antonio is awesome - he met us, let us in and showed us around. The apartment is lovely (and roomy). A proper shower that didn't make you feel like you were showering in a shoe box!
The room has a small balcony, but more important is the fully stocked kitchen/ dining……
