“This was an amazing hotel! The large fish tank in the lobby set the stage, our kids (and myself) loved it! The pool was the best one we had during our 2 week cross-country voyage! It had a hot tub, a kids area with a fountain and a waterfall into the larger pool. It was so good, that we swam even though we arrived after 8pm. We had to experience the pool even if it meant a late bedtime for the kids. I wish we could have arrived earlier to enjoy it longer. The breakfast was fantastic.……

“We had to unexpectedly stay the night in Waco after a medical procedure. They got us in to their last available room. It was comfortable, cool, and safe. Just what we needed. They even graciously extended our checkout the next morning. Terrific beds, a/c, and breakfast/coffee choices. Thanks for your kindness! ”

“All was great except for the Lady that was taking care of the breakfast. She was very rude. I came politely to her and asked her if she could get us some more syrup at there wasn’t any please. She gave me a dirty look and walked away. There was several people waiting to have it with their waffles. Just not very professional! I base my stay on how people treat you.”

“Everything was wonderful during our stay with one exception. We stayed in room 306 and every so often we’d hear this strange knocking noise next to the bathroom and electric box. It occurred at all times and night with the last night being from 4:30 am until 6 am. We spoke to staff who said they were aware of the problem and there was a loose pipe in the wall. The only way to fix it would be to open the wall. It sounds as if no one wants to fix it. Other than the problem with the wall everyone……

“This was a unique trip and holiday for my adult daughter and me. The cabins were clean and exactly as described on their website. We participated in most of the events offered and enjoyed interacting with and learning about the exotic animals. The staff is very knowledgeable; we were educated on many aspects of nature and wildlife. We went horseback riding twice and found it challenging yet enjoyable. We plan on returning someday, so our stay was top-notch for two nature and animal lovers.”

“Really great value hotel. Nice bar with an extremely talented bar tender. The free breakfast was not your typical cereal and stale bread spread. Crepes, berry parfaits, frittatas and good coffee. I selected it because it was close to Baylor and pet friendly and very pleasantly surprised.”
